The raffia came so sink wrapped I was leery of it. Once unwrapped the raffia was in great condition. Unlike other raffia I've worked with this raffia is not all tangled up and easy to pull apart. Will buy again.

Came vacuum packed, so was very flat. Not exactly what I was expecting for "ribbon". These were individual strands of mishapened and unequally wide pieces of raffia that were just rolled together in big bunches. That being said, there is a lot of rafia if you don't mind the fact that the width varies on the pieces. I was able to use them for what I needed since I was braiding 3 stands together, but they are not perfect for every need. I have used better quality of rafia in the past.

The raffia itself is fine, with long enough pieces to be useful, and an irregular array of widths as nature would have it. I gave only 4 stars because of how it is bundled. There are 4 vacuum packed bundles. When released from the seal, there is some expansion. My objection is that finding and taking single pieces created a mess in the bundle. I’ve used raffia bundled and tied such that single pieces can easily be lifted once the raffia is unfolded. So the product so far is fine except for difficulty in accessing it.

There is rafia for years in this package! I only used one bundle and I have rafia in almost all of my decor! This is high quality and a great price!

I read a review that the pieces were short , for me that would have made the product useless- I NEEDED it though so took a chance. All bundles had long pieces in good shape, strong enough to tie. I use these to wrap around soaps. I would order again.update- Price has gone up making this rafia pretty expensive/ it may be just prime adding on , not sure.

It arrived in tight little bundles which were easy to pull apart to use the strands. I am making a raffia wreath and the quality of this product is perfect for my project. The strands were long and thick enough to fill in my wreath easily. Would highly recommend.
