We got these for my daughter's 4th birthday as party favors for all her friends. The theme was princess so the little castles were perfect for the theme. All her friends had a blast playing with them and almost all of them got taken home from the party.

This is a great set for Kinetic Sand. The multiple containers are great for storing the individual colors, and the ability to play with them one at a time. Overall, Kinetic Sand is not "messy," and it is easy to vacuum up and sand that does spill on the floor. However, once sand has gotten on the floor, it can be quite slippery. But, overall, this set provides hours of fun!

Each egg had some real weight to it, so all together, I think it was a pretty good bang for your buck (sorry I don't remember how much I spent, but it was a good price - cheaper than buying a bags worth of kinetic sand). The sand has held up well and both my kiddos (8 y.o. and 3 y.o.) have enjoyed playing with the sand. Another plus is that the eggs are heavy duty and will be great to reuse for Easter next year! Also, there were three different colors of sand - the primary colors. This was great for teaching primary and secondary colors and they mixed well! (fun homeschool project) I absolutely recommend these for Easter or if you or your kiddos like eggs and/or kinetic sand.

My son is 2.5 and loves kinetic sand. He has a habit of blending colors after a few weeks of play so I was excited to see a set with a wide variation of colors that didn’t have any duplicates. And the price point was great!

Sand has interesting keep together behavior. It is true that sand is not enough to make castle, so I bought two of them. Also, colors are many, very nice shades.
