I got this Chuckle & Roar Sensory Dream Sand Mega 10 Pack for my three year old and I to play with together. The sand has a really neat texture. It somehow feels both light and firm at the same time, and can be molded, shaped, or smashed in different ways. But it’s not a putty, so it can’t be stretched, and it is a little bit crumbly (messy) as it doesn’t stay together in the same way as putty or clay as we're playing with it. My daughter loves the bright and pretty variety of colors, and I like that it's unscented and won’t dry out.

My 3 year old is loving this sand. It's easy to open, and easy to form and hold onto. She had a blast playing with just one of these for over an hour. It is a bit messy but if you have it in a box or outdoors it should be fine. Only comment I will make is there are little bits of glitter in the sand that DO come off on the hands, but it's not a major amount. I personally have not noticed it anywhere but on the hands, and it takes a washing to get it off so I'm not too worried about a glitter mess. These are great for sensory bins or gifts or even Easter baskets!

We love the Chuckle and Roar brand. My son is autistic and eats non-food items like playdaugh and sand. Their products are all safe if he does end up eating some. Each tub is pretty small but you get a fun array of colors and it sticks together much better than moon or kinetic sand so less mess. My son is 6 and wants to get it out to play daily and it keeps him busy for hours sometimes. The Whoa Dough is also awesome. I think most kids would like this and it makes a great gift.

This play compound really does feel incredibly soft and cloud like! The sand is in a consistency similar to powdered sugar so it's really silky. One tub was perfect for a 2 year-old to manage and filled a little play kitchen frying pan without overflowing it. (We were using it outside in a Mud Kitchen.) Each cube is holding about 3.5 ounces, or a scant half cup. Can be formed into a ball about the size of a racquetball.These little play sand cubes would be awesome party favors or treasure box prizes. I'm also going to take one on an upcoming trip so my toddler can have some sensory play that is easy to clean up. It's the type of play sand that sticks to itself and stays together REALLY well. You can pick chunks of it right up off the carpet and it stays together instead of being a sandy mess like real sand. I think some of the colors would look beautiful mixed together if you need to fill a larger sensory bin. Love the quality, will keep buying this brand.

AWESOME! this sand is actually better than kinetic sand. My little girls hands tend to get clammy and even kinetic sand will stick to her and make a bit of mess. This dream sand is so dry and smooth, no sticking at all. When it’s stretched out it’s soft and stretchy like kinetic but when you ball it up it’s almost like a hard ball of dough. The colors are pretty and you get so many for only $12.99! What a great deal. The containers are airtight and my 7 year old can open and close them herself. I will be buying more of these so she has a larger amount to play with. 10/10 absolutely recommend.

Gosh, my kid really really likes this sand. Like, a lot. He played with it for hours when he first opened it. Not pretend hours either, real ones. A whole evening. He’s 3.5. We started by dumping all the nice vibrant colors into a sensory bin one color at a time in some silly pipe dream that he’d keep them separate, and then he went to town driving his cars and trucks and a fire truck ladder through the mix until it was thoroughly mixed, and then he made mountains with his toys inside. He’d pause every once in a while and glance up at his PEPPA on tv, but mostly ignored it in favor of his sand. Sometimes he did both. Three times he stopped mid-play, looked up at me, and told me how much fun he was having with the sand. So. Much. Fun. The sand itself sticks together nicely so not nearly as messy as actual sand, and it’s quite firm and one big block when you first take it out which is nice. His tray was something like 12x20 and 6” deep, and after all this time playing there were only a handful of little globs of sand on the floor, and they were fairly easy to pick up as most were clumps. Great find and an A++ toy!

I got this for my favorite 2.5 year old and she absolutely loves it. There are so many colors to choose from and use. The manufacturer claims the consistency is like a cloud; I've never touched a cloud but since planes can fly through them I'm guessing they aren't like this dream sand... whatever the consistency is similar to it's incredibly satisfying!It holds its form very well so you can make all sorts of cool shapes. You can blend the colors to make rainbows and sorts of designs. It also cleans up very easily and doesn't stick to your hands. I use this as much as her :) Definitely recommend!

My kids love Dream Sand(and I find myself using it to!) so was so happy to see this bigger pack. LOVE how many colors it comes with + that they are all in separate containers so all the colors don't instantly get mixed together.
