i bought it for the outdoor sofas to keep strays off my furniture. It worked sometimes, if it wasn't blown off by the wind. Needed weights to keep it down.. was a pain to keep taking on and off, folding carefully, trying not to rip it.

So much for a deterrent.. our cat pees on it and has put holes on the cheap silver side. The only good thing about it is it has saved our couch from being peed on, as the urine didn't soak through.

We had already been using regular tin foil for a couple of weeks, and it was working, but it wasn't the best size and inconvenient so I wanted to see if there were any products based off the same idea. Got this, been using it a couple months at least and it works for us. Easy enough to take off when we want to use the couch. Test using regular tin foil before committing to a tin foil blanket.

This product is a joke! It does NOT deter dogs from jumping on the couch, nor does the sound stop them from going through to the other side! I wish I never would have fallen for this.
