A Bed/Mat Combo
The faux fur material is soft and comfortable to sleep on. It easily folds into a bed within seconds. The folded rim creates a confortable enclosure that naturally attracts cats to curl up in.
The pet mat measures 24” x 20” when laid flat as a mat and folds into a bed with 15" diameter and 3" rim. The pet bed is machine washable for easy maintenance.

We’ve purchased 2 of these now. We have an old cat that doesn’t like much. Our cat does love this but not as it’s advertised. He actually prefers this flat with the grey side up. He didn’t care for the super soft side at all. Not quite sure why as it is very soft and would feel like a dream I’m sure. I don’t ask the cat questions though. Just do what he tells me to do. The grey side is smooth and comfy as well and blends with our decor so I don’t so much care how he uses it, just that he does. Spends as much time snuggled up on it as he can. Money well spent in my book.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the cat bed, especially with its high ($30-plus) price tag. It is very thin, no support or "body" to it at all. Just a flimsy pad. The "fuzzy" lining is long, thin & cheap. Some of strands pulled out the first time I touched it. Can't imagine washing this thing with any success, which is a 'must' for a cat bed. The fold-up idea to make a bed with sides is a joke. Being so soft it just smashes down into a blob. I have since found much better, more substantial beds at a local pet supply chain store for HALF the price. Don't waste your money on this one!

The attached picture is of my two cats--one of whom hates the other. The "other" hasn't quite figured that out though. They love this bed so much that there is often a temporary truce when they are on it, and the kingdom--er, apartment--enjoys a small period of peace. In all seriousness, this is a very soft, furry mat. There is not much cushion to it. Nevertheless, my cats adore it. I got it for my blind, elderly cat, and I don't have to worry about her stumbling off of it. It moves with us depending on where she wants to lay, sometimes on the bed, sometimes on the couch. The price seemed high to me, but for the enjoyment my two beloved cats are getting out of it, I'm happy we paid it.

My cat loves his new bed. I recently got a blanket with the white fuzzy material and he liked it a lot so I figured I'd get him one of his own. He uses it in his box (not like we don't have beds all over the apt). He's definitely too big to sleep in the bed when it's folded up. He's 17 lbs. But I knew that when I bought it since another reviewer had said that it was small when folded up. It's plenty big enough when unfolded. I think my cat just likes the texture. Overall it was a win at my house.

This works well as a mat for my kitten, who sleeps on chairs. I don’t think it would be great on the ground for an older pet who weighs more; it’s too thin. I washed it once according to directions, and it air dried quickly. My kitten likes to lick the fur-like fabric; it’s very soft. I agree with other reviewers that it’s rather overpriced, and that the button closure system is tough to figure out. In fact, a button fell off 2 weeks after I bought this, and sewing a button onto this type of material is not that easy. Edit: A week after this review, my kitten stopped approaching the bed, and a year later, my new kitten #2 wasn’t into it either. I gave it to a neighbor whose cats like it. My spoiled cats prefer blankets made from natural fibers.

A very soft mat that my cat loves to knead on. He didn't take to it immediately, and still prefers is older fleece blanket to knead over this, but I am hoping he will grow to like it because it is so soft and fluffy. Best part, no shedding. I have bought a few mats/beds that shed alot.Update: After a week, there seemed to be a flattened patch in the middle of the mat and kept growing. Returned it.

She dislikes cat beds, however, she is a 13 year old, medium haired, domestic. She does like to lay on a heating pad so I placed this bed flat on her heating pad. She took to it like an open tuna can. After one week I buttoned up one side and she's okay with that. Now she's snuggled up in her new half bed, half flat, soft, fluffy blanket. This is unlike any kitty bed we've ever seen. It's beautiful and ingenious. I highly recommend this bed / blanket.

We've only had the mat a few days, but the cat thinks it's great. Putting it on a bed, couch, etc. encourages her to sit in that spot and spare the rest of the furniture, she loves it so. I even caught her trying to groom it once. Fortunately it stood up well to a few minutes' determined efforts. (FYI, if you're a new cat owner, don't let your cat do that. Distract her with something else before she actually manages to work some fuzz loose and clogs up her innards with it. Same goes for anything fluffy or stringy.) I bought it to put in a new cat carrier in hopes that it would make the carrier look inviting, but she's a feral rescue and it's going to take more than an enticing mat, open doors and some treats to get her into that carrier. Ah well.I can't seem to get it to fold up quite as nifty-looking as the photos when turning it into a bed, but it's still plenty neat and the cat couldn't care less whether it looks like the photos. I'm not a gift-wrapping expert, so I'm assuming that minor inability is on me. Folding the back end into a bed makes it a perfect fit for the carrier.Update: Be smarter than me. If it's on furniture anywhere near the edge, anchor it somehow. Otherwise the cat leaps up onto it, slides down to the floor with it, and finds it scary afterward. The flip side is a bit slippery. I thought I had it far enough away from the edge ... lesson learned.
