Worked perfect on a 2021 Chevy Equinox. I was skeptical at first because of reading the reviews, most were positive so I made the purchase. We had just bought a 2012 Chevy Equinox and it was push to start and the seller only had the one Key fob. So only having one key to any vehicle can be an expensive experience if you lose it, can’t get in your car.I watched a few YouTube videos, but eventually went to the owner’s manual and it laid out the process for programming the fobs. The key element of programming the fob is if the car has one or both fobs. If only one you have a more drawn out programming and following the messages from your vehicles dashboard. It takes about 30 minutes to program and a 10 minute timer and patience is needed, I would suggest to open your car door during the (3) 10 minute prompts to keep the car’s computer awake. I was worried about the removing the only working remote from the cars computer to add it back later along the new remote, I followed the advice of patients, a timer and cars owner manual and it added this remote and it functions perfectly. I saved hundreds of dollars of doing this myself. My buddy left is key fob on top of his car and it fell off. It cost him $600 at the dealership. The only thing is that the actual metal key has to be cut at at locksmith that has the capability to cut these keys. Overall I am very pleased with it and would not hesitate to buy another one.

2019 Equinox, did not work. I tried to program this key fob following the owners manual instructions, after 3hrs called a locksmith to try (he couldn’t), and then ended up at the dealership. They couldn’t program it either so paid for a dealership key fob.

I had to have a locksmith program this remote but it did eventually work with my 2020 chevy Exquinox.

I bought a spare set for my 2021 Equinox. It took me two tries to get the fob programmed my first try I definitely didn’t wait long enough and panicked. But the second time around I set the timer and all went great. Got the key cut at a local locksmith, zero issues.
