He fits my 2014 Ford Explorer was able to get the keys cut at a local locksmith. Had the key programmed by a Ford technician. Very sturdy case and buttons highly recommend.

these worked great, easy to program because I have two original keys that I don't use for everyday use. I couldn't find anyone to cut these keys, I bought a cheap key duplicator for $120 and am way ahead. Make sure you save 2 original keys (for ford at least) for programing.Replacing auto keys is becoming something between a cartel and a monopoly!

The key is millimeters too short and will not start the car. The fob part works just fine.

So I had a locksmith cut and program the keys. He verified I do have a remote start installed that the factory key will work. BUT the new key only locks and unlocks but does not remote start. So the remote start function of this key is misleading! Will keep yawl updated on how long the rest of the functions last.Update!! After finding a video online I have found a solution that works with this key. If you press the lock button twice (slowly) then the remote start twice (slowly) it remote starts!

with winter coming I wanted to get the remote start working on my gf’s ‘13 explorer that originally wasn’t optioned to have it functional. I already had Forscan as well as the dongle and hers already had the hood switch installed & hooked up. i had these keys cut mechanically, activated the remote start & turned on all the related settings in Forscan then learned these keys to the car using the add key function instead of erasing & relearning all keys. the remote start, lock & unlock buttons all function just like an oe key and she couldn’t be happier

I got these for my 2015 f250 , got them cut and programmed by local locksmith and had no problems. These are just like oem and way cheaper then buying from locksmith.

The remote fobs by themselves will not activate. It will take two working fobs onhand to start a process, plus buying an addition OEB connector to complete the process. Or the tutorial suggests just going to your Ford dealership to activate the fobs. Nothing really gained with this deal.

Was able to get out of a bind with a broken OEM key that lost program unable to start truck. Got these had a locksmith cut and program to truck. Was able to start truck but no functions on fob work… no locking or unlocking, no remote start or alarm…
