I have an old large space kerosene heater I've been repairing for decades. It's the kind with a kerosene tank on the bottom, a combustion chamber with a powerful blower, and wheels and a handle. It's old, but it works! It wears its age well, all things considered. I call it the jet heater became it sounds like a jet taking off. It never even occurred to me that there might be a cover for this type of heater. Makes sense though. When I need it, I need it bad. When I don't, the heater is basically lost in space somewhere. Gathering dust. Which has gummed up the works in the past! I decided this heater cover would be a good addition, protecting my heater from dust and other stuff while it's stored. The cover is nicely made, all black. I especially like that it is waterproof! It is 13 by 34 by 17 inches. It covers my heater with a little space to spare. Made of 600 denier Oxford cloth, this cover will last for many years. The handles on the end are a nice idea, but on a flexible fabric cover, I'm not so sure. I also like the elastic around the bottom and the strap keeping the package tidy. Very nice!

I did not get this for it's intended purpose. It happens that the pet carrier that one of my chickens has chosen for a nesting box is almost the exact size as the heater this is intended for. Unfortunately she only wants to use it on a table that is exposed to the elements and the bedding was getting completely soaked in the PNW wet weather. I got this and cut open one side to put it over her crate in hopes that I could keep it a little dryer. Since then we have had absolute downpours, intense wind, and even hail! This cover has kept her box completely dry and clean through it all. It even keeps it warmer since it blocks the wind so well. She gladly goes in every day and lays there regardles of the weather and gives me eggs. When I collect the egg each day it is completely dry. If you have the heater this is intended for or anything else of a similar size that you need to protect against the elements, this will do the job!!
