Took a minute and some looking at the pictures to assemble, but easy to use. Idnt leak.Glad it came with extra wicks, a funnel and siphon.I'm used to those with a cutoff switch. This one you turn down to extinguish.

Works well enough but, can’t get an answer for fuel tank getting hot during use. Seems like it would be a hazard. The unit was used at a low flame, tank got hot no matter the flame being adjusted.

This thing generates smoke like a chimney on a coal power plant. I used Klean Heat fuel. I have another large Soku heater and that runs very clean on K1 Kerosene. I think this one is only good for outdoor use.

I received the heater and put it into operation the same day,the heater puts out a lot of heat and very little odor was made after i burned it outside and cured the paint on it with it running on high, this part of the heater is more than satisfactory. Having said that, on the second day of operation the plastic knob got loose and would come off, there is no set screw on it,bad design on the knob which cannot be tightened up. This is very aggravating to use when your running the wick up and down. This is the reason for a low rating.

Having come with a wick alreadily insalled was great. Installing one appeared to be the difficult part, that I have not yet done. The instructions could be better written but they were easy to figure out. Filled with 1/4,gallon of white gas and waiting ten minute, it was very easy to light as the entire wick ignited with one try. Adjusting the chimney was not hard but is clumsy with three sliding supports, that three knobs need to be loosened and tightened as need to lock the chimney. Adjusting the flame was easy but took a little time to get correct. The one problem I have is the carry handle is too short to use while the heater is hot as it will burn your hand. I remedied this by using the claw of a claw hammer to lift it, keeping my hand away from the top of the chimney. It does seem to put out a lot ig heat. It raised the temperature of my garage form 50 to approximately 70 degrees and I can't wait to try it in colder weather. Update. New winter. I tried to change the wick. I wasn't able tonremove thee three screws holding thee hood I'm place and had to replace the wick by removing the 3 screens holding thee top of the hoods and reaching down to the wick. The instructions for replacing the wick adjustment were vague but I figured it out with enough time.
