My heater has 40 hours on it and stopped working within the 2 year stated warranty. Mfg is refusing to warranty it and states the warranty is only 1 year. I purchased my heater in December 2022. It stopped working in November of 2024. Listing stated in December of 2022 that it has a 2 year warranty and now 2+ years later it still says as of this writing that the warranty is 2 years. Why do you think they would leave an incorrect posting up so long? Do a lot of research before you buy this product. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PROTEMP (PNNACLE) PRODUCT!!!

The heater worked fine for 14 hours. Heater has 15 hours on it and started blowing raw fuel out while running. Contacted manufacturer and they say replace this part or that part. I have replaced every part on the machine except the fan. They charge shipping but "give" you the parts under warranty. Shipping has so far cost more than the parts would have. They refuse to help me now suggest I drive over 100 miles to a service center and pay for repairs myself. The Pinnacle Climate company is a horrible company to deal with. The owners and CEO's are living the high life on some island with servants all while people continue to purchase their junk heaters and freeze during the winter. 10/10 highly not recommended. ALL HEATERS ARE THE SAME REGARDLESS OF COLOR OR MANUFACTURER ON THE SIDE. Master, protemp, stanley, remington, all the same garbage made by Pinnacle Climate Technologies!!!!

Worked for about 20 hrs. Blows fuel out the front. Shows E1 all the time. Won't work anymore. Don't buy one, they suck.

Well the package came all destroyed. Back fan was smashed in. No axle for the wheel kit and no hardware. Called amazon. I told them the problem. With in 10 minutes they had the issue resolved and gave me full credit. Absolute best customer service. Product works great now after some big time fabrication!

Love this heater. Silent drive technology has revolutionized the torpedo heater. Quiet, efficient. I run one in my shop with a Corbin monoxide tester. No burning eyes, headache and carbon monoxide tester shows safe levels. I will never use a traditional torpedo heater again. FYI: all silent drive heaters are manufactured by the same company. The only difference is the color and name. All parts interchange. Shop around.

This product works great. Must use kerosene or regular diesel fuel. "CANNOT USE OFF ROAD DIESEL OR BIO DIESEL". The dyes in the off road diesel gets into all the seals and pump. I contacted Protemp and they told me the fix. I completely disassembled the pump and cleaned all off road diesel out. It has been working flawlessly. Protemp should include this in the hand book.

Boy do I love this heater....when it works. One day I got a large amount of smoke then it never worked again. I tried replacing the nozzle which did not help. I then tried rebuilding the pump which also did not help. I then noticed when the unit tried to turn on the discharge solenoid would remain open the entire time. I then removed this solenoid and disassembled it. My issue was a small piece of metal was lodged into the seal on the piston. I removed this, reassembled the solenoid unit and installed everything back to how it was. I have not had any issues since this fix was preformed. As a side note I replaced all the seals in the pump with viton o rings so that I can run #2 diesel

This is my second version of this heater I run diesel in them. This one burns a lot cleaner than the older one. The older one I had to adjust the flow valve screw so the exhaust wouldn’t burn my eyes. The new one worked perfect out the box. The easy way to tell which line you got is by looking at the plug. The old one has a regular plug. The new one has a plug that you can. Daisy chain them together. Very quiet compared the other forced air models. Just make sure you don’t let the fuel run out becaude it shoots flames when the fuel is to low. Easy to use
