It works great on my patio. Just make sure when you put it together that you put the legs up and then the arch . The instructions are backwards .

Absolutely love this! Easy to assemble. Fits on our roof overhang eave to ground. We have it over our side garage door so we can sit in our glider chairs in shade. Bought a second to place on other side of house over our huge dining room window where the sun comes blaring in at sunset. This will keep our corner nook cooler too. It holds up very well in pour down rain (Hawaii gets some downpours). Water does pool a little so we just angle 1 side and water runs right off. Also held up on windy days.

I was so scared to order a cheap awning, but it was all we could afford. We've had at least three pretty serious wind storms since we put it up. I didn't realize they were coming, so I didn't even roll it down. We had large tree branches down and everything blown around in our yard, but this thing is fine somehow. It looks really nice too. I could not be happier with it.

Assembly instructions were clear and worked as expected. It was good to have a second set of hands (my wife's) to hold one pole while I was tightening the other. We were glad to not have to drill holes in our rental place. The metal pieces feel sturdy. The awning material is a bit thin, our only negative observation. But, it works! We are enjoying its shade. It looks fine. Good value.

I love this awning! It's easy to put together and install, and does exactly what I bought it for. I'd give it 5 stars, but I went with 4 because the knob screws tend to come loose. I've noticed it a few times, and just tightened them, but on a really windy day, one of the knobs managed to shake loose and get lost, so now I'm on the hunt for a replacement. I'll be buying a handful, because I'm sure this will happen again. So if you buy one, check the knobs periodically to make sure they're tight.

Better than expected. Nice quality for the price. So much better than the umbrella I’d been using which would blow over in bit of wind. Adjusts easily to whatever height needed and secures tightly so house. Lightweight and easy to relocate if wanted. Does require 2 people for final assembly to roof/floor. Easy roll up and out and really like that side arms can adjust to different angles to block sun. Finally shade on a hot southern exposure deck.

This is great for blocking the sun from entering our slider and now with the rain, provides great shelter. Some reviews claim this ponds water on top when it rains, but that’s only so if the support arms are not adjusted properly. That’s one feature that makes this so versatile. If you slide the support arms down lower or up higher, this adjusts the awning to slide outward straight or at a downward slant. Fully customizable.

I was honestly shocked by how easy this was to install. Took about an hour and a half and for about 10 minutes you need a second set of hands to hold things in place. My mom was my second set of hands, so it was super easy. it seems very well-made and easy to operate. Really hoping it stands up to the weather. If it doesn’t, I’ll come back and update my review.
