Just what the doctor ordered for the project I needed it for.Good clean cut. I took several passes to get to my final depth.

I used this 1” radius bit to make solid wood rails for a pool table of highly figured curly maple - not an easy job for a bit. I mounted the bit in my 65 year old Delta shaper and got glass-smooth surfaces. The trick is to hold the material absolutely tight to the machine bed (no vibration or unintended movement at all) and to take shallow cuts at SLOW feed. The bit arrived razor sharp and I completed the full radius in 6 to 8 passes. With test cuts in hickory and maple that amounts to well over 200 feet. The bit will need to be sharpened now for such extreme demands but is still ok for straight grain wood.

Very low quality cutter. All my other cutters ate great in my router. when I ordered this one it chattered and left a very nasty finish. I believe it was manufactured badly. Sent it back for a refund.

Carbide ran smooth through all 4 corners of 181 each 4"x4"x8" pine timbers. Still sharp and ready for more.

I used for a limited project on very soft wood - cedar. Don't know how it would hold up on hardwood. The top name brands would cost much more for the same bit, so for my purposes this worked well.
