I have a sun conure that is part wood chipper. He destroys all his perches. So I buy stainless steel for permanent items and wooden perches for him chew.

i love this, i have a macaw who only chews her main perch to death.. and its good for her to chew toys, the perches all drop in a day and she chews them in such a way they need to be replaced almost daily! so this will help her chew on anything else... (and some smaller not main perch)

Performs exactly as it should! Easy to clean and disinfect to keep your feathered friends healthy and safe. This is genuinely good for bigger bodied birds, from African ravens to macaws to large cockatoos, oh my! Very satisfied.

It can be installed on almost any cage with a screw, you don't need any tools, it can be installed by hand.The Rough surface feels fairly smooth to the touch so it will not hurt the bottom of my birds feet.I hate to trim my birds nails so I hope this helps with that, but it will take time to show some results, overall I like it and recommend it

I returned this perch. There is no way this perch was ever going to trim my African Greys nails. Who comes up with this stuff? Yea I fell for it. Stick to wood or sand perches. Debra Herring

My father-in-law recently got a parrot, so I've been helping him get his cage together and decorated, and we turned his spare office into a play room for the bird. This is a pretty nice perch from what I can tell- it's a good size, easy to install, seems well made (though I question the quality of the "stainless" steel used), and it's nice that is has the knurled surface. That makes it a lot easier for the bird to grip onto. Overall a good find.
