I use this under the perch where my parakeet eats her fruit because she's always dropping pieces then looking for them. Works perfectly for that! But, since the wood isn't really sealed, it's hard to clean and always looks dirty. Doesn't bother my bird at all, just me.

The washers that come with the shelves are small so they don’t secure the shelves well. The shelves are rather narrow too.

My bird is old and has arthritis in his hip, so my vet suggested flat surfaces all around cage these do come in handy for him he is an 24 year old green cheek conure. Helps alot for his walking around cage. very easy to assemble.

These are nice platforms for my budgies, they love them. when it came it was missing 3 washers though. definitely sturdy.Make sure you take your birds to the vet regularly to get there nails trimmed, otherwise it will hurt for them to stand on flat platforms and perch, because the nail will push up into the toe and cause pain. Don't use nail grinding perches they can cause bumble foot, go to a vet to get them properly trimmed.

These are perfect for my Chinchilla. He seems to love them. They came with all the hardware. They're easy to install. They are sturdy and can hold the weight of my chonk boy.
