This stripper seems well built and work well. I think it's great for most purposes. I've been working with 10 gauge wire of late, and it really isn't designed for that too well. Still, for the money, it's a great wire stripper and easily outperforms my old one on 90% of the tasks that I do.

Update: seller reached out to me regarding broken product. They offer to send a free replacement. Four stars for their customer service.Original review: Cutting wire is okay. Cutting screw not okay. It broke when I tried to cut a cabinet screw.

I have a few different styles of wire strippers. This one is my new favorite!Cuts through electrical wire well, does what it should. I have a different style that has cut me several times. With this one, the sharp areas are more well guarded when closed. My new favorite pair!

I paid for a less expensive version of stripper/cutter and kinda got what I expected. The wire stripper/cutter has everything you need to get the job done, really simple to use and understand. Only thing is the lower section of the pincers where you actually cut the wire bent and did not close properly. I had to push the pincers up and over to be able to close it properly. I didn't expect that to be an issue, but it is. Because of the bend, I wasn't able to use the gauge holes properly and had to move down a size to strip the wire.Overall, meh, I got what I paid for. It did the job, but after the first use it bent.
