Bought a MIJ 1980s PB and there were some mismatched screws holding in the tuning machines. It turned out someone had put in slightly incorrect screws and they wouldn’t tighten completely—like they were stripped.I put these in and everything was perfect. They fit just right and the problem was solved.

I needed some small mounting screws that would be the perfect size for Grover machine heads - these are just right. I think these are the same size screws for Gibson and Epiphone truss rod covers too.
