I bought this for an Ibanez RG guitar. I needed to make it smaller to fit. It is for a Stratocaster. Ground it down with wheel grinder. It works.

Ich habe die Backplate für meine Fender "Made in Mexico" 2006er Standard Strat "60th Anniversary"bestellt, da das alte Cover irgendwann einmal verloren ging. Nun sind die Plastik-Parts über dieJahre natürlich mittlerweile nicht mehr weiss sonder weiss aged. Ein original Fender ParchmentCover passte farblich überhaupt nicht und das original Fender Aged Cover hat die 6 Holes und nichtdie durchgehende Öffnung wie das ursprüngliche Cover. Also musste ich nach einem 3-ply AgedWhite Cover eines anderen Anbieters suchen und kam somit auf das Angebot von kaish.Das Cover dieses Anbieters ist praktisch nicht vom Fender Original zu unterscheiden. Die Ab-messungen sind exakt gleicht. Qualitativ merke ich auch keinen Unterschied. Der Preis ist eben-falls TOP. Von mir eine ganz klare Empfehlung für die Backplate von kaish !!!!

Update: the company reached out and sent me a new one for free. This one works and looks as expected.It’s not really worth returning due to the low price but I was disappointed to receive an item all scratched up on both sides. I’m not putting that on my guitar. The material and thickness seem fine, perhaps mine was some kind of return or defective one?

My pick guard is aged pearl. Now the trem plate is aged pearl. Awesome edition It's all matched now. Fit like a glove. Thank you guys

doesn't fit Jackson... but with a bit of sanding and re-drilling the holes to make it fit meh it's ok

Il materiale e il colore sono buoni, i buchi non corrispondono alla mia chitarra perfettamente, ho dovuto avvitare un po' in modo storto alcune viti. Però la mia chitarra è una Strato assemblata da liutaio.

Quality item. Super clear plastic. I think the backplate may be slightly thicker than the usual ones. I might just get gold springs just so they can be seen. 😝

Really cool look to see in but still have it covered. Might want to check if you have an Artist Series American. Did not go on the srv but fits great on my others and is cut flawlessly. Looks amazing.

Exact fit for my new Squier Paranormal Supersonic... (which has the Fender Strat full size trem block, as oppose to the smaller one found on most Squiers...) its crystal clear...Just don't forget to peel the protective film off *BOTH* sides first! 🤓

Although I was aware that this item was designed for genuine US Strats, and not Squiers, I thought I would take a chance. I checked, and it would have been an exact fit for my US Strat, but some of the fixing holes are in different positions on my 1988 Japanese Squier. Not really a problem. Drilled new holes where required and it fits fine. Actually matches the white/black/white laminated pickguard, and better than the slightly flimsy original, which had split around a couple of the screw holes.
