Its got a very long battery life if you run it on low voltage, but the head of it did get a little loose after having in in my pocket for some time. Im sure it works great for soldering, but it fits other 5/16th things great. Also is ALLOT longer than it looks, probably 6-8 inches for just the battery

I tried to charge it straight out of the box and it will not take the charge. Even tried using a different charger I bought that I know works and nothing. The light keeps flashing red and green. Don’t waste your money.

I bought this soldering iron to use for "gardening". At first, it seemed like it was solidly built and good quality - sturdy, hard metal with a pretty blue finish. The charge lasted a decent amount of time as well. However, within a week of using it, the top part that you are supposed to screw the tip or "pen" into detached from the top of the pen which in turn disconnected the wiring that allows the device to work. I had to throw it away and buy a different brand. Very disappointed.
