Their ad is deceptive as they state this actuator will lift 660lbs. I added it to my crane for lifting granite pieces off my trailer. I only need the actuator to raise the boom and my winch could takeover from there. I was installing an island that was ( and I’m being generous ) 450 lbs at best. So I raised the boom and moved it into position. Then I used the winch to lower my clamp. Then I used the winch to pick up the island. It got about four inches above my aframe tray and we were about to swing it out when the actuator completely gave way. Luckily for us the island and both of us were unscathed. Let me repeat” LUCKILY”. If the island had broken I would have had to buy another slab and fabricate it again at my expense. We would have been approaching the two grand mark at that point. And if one of us was also hurt they would also have been loss of productivity. Their ad also claims the actuator is IP 65 rated but when it ariived the manual said IP 54. I am still using one of the two I purchased because it is (so far) handling the tasks given it (though barely). DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Unless you just need something to slide open your hen house door. That’s really about all I can see it handling.

I got one cycle out of them before they quit working . I worked on them and got them working so I cycled them again and the mounts broke off of both of them . JUNK

I am building an EV conversion and need to make an electric parking brake to act as "Park" for the car. I decided to give this actuator a try since it's quite compact and will generate the amount of force I need to pull the brake cables. The actuator itself is well made and comes with mounting brackets and pins that will help with what I need to build. In my research I found that several other examples of electric parking brakes made using an actuator and am confident that this will work well for my needs.

Plastdrev, tryckstång i tunt aluminium inpressad metallklump i änden av stången som inte sitter fast ordetnligt.Motorn låter illa.Det röda som ska se ut som packningar är i själva verket färg.Att den här skulle klara 3000N är jag rejält tveksam till.

J’ai acheté 2 actionneurs linéaires pour créer un tracker positionné sur le toit de ma pergola afin de l’incliner entre 30 et 35* et d’optimiser la production photovoltaïque et le cas échéant prévoir une remise à plat lors de forts vents. Je l’ai complété boîtier de commande wifi pour que les panneaux solaires soient en position dès le lever du soleil et regagnent la position la plus basse au coucher et surtout pilotable à distance lorsque le vent se lève et que je ne suis pas à la maison.J’en suis très satisfait. Ils jouent parfaitement leur rôle.

This is a high quality small linear actuator. It doesn't look or feel like one of the cheap junk actuators that are all over the place nowadays, but instead seems like it's really well made and built to last. My application isn't anywhere near the load limit but it feels plenty strong and I expect it would handle that much weight, though of course you always want to build in a cushion for these sort of things. My favorite feature of this is that it has built in limit switches. Most don't have that and adding them can be a pain in a lot of applications so having them built in is huge. At the price it's offered it's a great deal and I highly recommend it.
