I have two dogs, one will eat anything, the other one I have to beg him to eat. So I’m always looking for treats to see if he likes them. He went crazy over the street! But what really surprised me, was my cats! I have cats that refuse to eat, canned food, And I’ve tried every brand imaginable. They go crazy over these treats! But it gets even better… I have seven chickens, and I wondered how they would like these treats. You would think I was giving them their favorite dried mealworms! They went after these treats like they were on crack! So for the first time ever, I have a treat that all of my animals will eat and enjoy. And I can feel good about what they’re getting because it’s just one thing, one ingredient, and I’m good with that!

Super high value training treat! My dog would do a backflip for these if he knew how. They snap into smaller pieces quite easily. I use them to give my dog his daily medication because he loves them so much. Good size container. Much easier to open and close than typical treat bags.

Chicken hearts are a great treat or food additive for both dogs and cats. They provide loads of healthy protein. These are freeze dried chicken heart halves in a resealable plastic container. These appear very fresh, they smell strongly of freeze dried chicken, sort of like dry chicken soup mix, not at all unpleasant. They are a really nice size but can be easily crumbled up or broken into smaller pieces if needed for ease of consumption. They can even be rehydrated with warm water if you want to serve them that way.My cat absolutely LOVES these, she went crazy the moment I opened the jar and she smelled the treats. She actually prefers these to her other, much less healthy treats. The price is really good as well for the amount of product that your receive.

I'm a visual person. It's hard for me to guess how much volume 7.76 oz of freeze-dried chicken hearts is. I was not expecting a package this large. The canister has a screw on lid plus a tamper seal. When I peeled back the inner seal, I heard a slight whoosh indicating the contents were vacuum sealed. There are soooo many treats in this package! They are just the right size to give one to my mini Doxie, and this package is going to last her a long time. Well, not if she has any say in the matter! She scarfed down the first one and is bouncing off the cabinet door where I store her treats. And when I wouldn't cave and give her another, she ran over and pawed at her food dish clanking that incessantly until I picked up her food bowl. I like offering her a variety of treats, and these are perfect.

The dogs adore these. I did not notice any unpleasant smell, there's no mess (I haven't tried breaking one apart yet) and they're a convenient size for small treats. The fat seems pretty well trimmed-off, and they're about the consistency of styrofoam--popcorn? Price seems pretty good.They're a little large for training (IMO) and I think they'd just crumble apart in your pocket if you tried keeping them there. Organ meat doesn't seem as sturdy as other freeze-dried treats I've tried.

I just received the package this morning. I opened it and my dogs were on me like flies buzzing over a juicy steak!Theu really enjoyed the treat, they don't last long obviously, but it is a good change up to give them some organ meat besides beef liver.I'll be mixing these into their meals too rather than giving them out as treats. I think this way may last longer and they get a bit more variety and consistent organ meat in their diet.As for the value. Based on some quick searches, I thought the size and the price were better than other products found online and box box stores (averaging 3 oz bag for around $12-15). This product is almost 8 oz for $20.
