I had low expectations that were exceeded. Throws out a decent amount of heat and kind of cool to mess around with the various colors with the remote.

I have a room with all antiques, but because of location is cooler than the rest of the house. I didn't want an ugly modern heater spoiling my decor, so I bought this. It looks adorable, and functions better than I expected! It keeps the room comfy, and I sometimes use the flames without heat just because they look so charming. It looks great in person, the flames look very realistic, and you can adjust the flame color and speed to your liking.The remote is definitely worth the slight extra cost. I use it multiple times a day, and it avoids having to stoop down and push tiny buttons. Also, the housing does not get hot (at least at the temps I use), so you can set things on or very near the back, top and sides. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

I bought this in February of 2024. As of 2 weeks ago, it just randomly stopped working. The button to turn it on immediately springs back to the off position. Tried everything to fix it outside of taking it apart and creating a fire hazard. Extremely disappointed.

This is a very nice electric stove. First thing I noticed was that it’s sturdy metal, not plastic. It’s a quick 4 leg screws to assemble and it’s good to go. There’s a decent variety of flame options to create the perfect ambiance, and the heater works quite well. We are using it in a 165 sqft room and primarily use the 500w setting. The frame doesn’t get too warm under use either.The remote works well too, although there is a small learning curve on setting wattage and temp, but not too bad.It’s really quiet, only a slight hum. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a realistic looking fireplace stove.

Update November 15th, 2024.I believe Amazon sent me a dud the first time. And upon receiving the replacement I was certain. They shouldn’t be allowed to do that. Thankfully, I had found the business’s website and contacted them directly and they were super responsive and nice. The new one came nicely packaged (with a remote) and no buzzing electrical wires. The electrical noise continued after the old unit was turned off so I immediately began a return. It should be a little noisy when it’s at full throttle but no more than a normal heater/ fan. Other than that it’s very quiet. I mostly use it for ambiance anyway since we’re having a warm winter but it has helped to take the chill out of the living room in the mornings. Very pleased!Original: It’s perfect for my fireplace and I love that the heat comes from the top instead of the bottom since I have curious cats. The is a slight hum even when the heat is off. I believe it’s from the rotating fire mechanism/ light. I don’t mind that however, it is missing its remote. I have reached out to the company via their website to see if they are able to send me a replacement as I don’t want to have to return the whole thing through Amazon.I believe I was sent a used unit too as the panel was loose and the cord had sticky residue on it that looked like from a sticker but was sticker-less. No bother I just stuck the panel back down and cleaned the cord. Will update my review if I hear back from the company.
