It's just like the picture. Has a real fire look effect, is toasty warm and seems to allow warm air from the bottom if it. Glass door opens and closes. It's nice and portable and easy to assemble. Only need to assemble the legs with screws

Even when it's off it has a strong plastic smell. It heats well but the fan has an irritating high whine. The main visual effect is the glowing orange logs while the flames are far less than the picture on the box. Because of the smell it is only usable in a well vented area.

I bought this for myself as a Christmas present. I dislike the aesthetic of generic space heaters that don't have a spot, so much as being just... out somewhere. This looks like a piece of furniture, and fits the aesthetic of my rrom. I am tickled pink by it!Pros:-Does a great job heating.-You can use the top like a piece of furniture / put things on it. The top doesn't get hot at all.-The door opens and closes with a satisfying CLANG (not too loud, but doesn't feel like cheap plastic for example)-I love the little details like the wire wrapped handle. So pretty!Cons:-The fire is not particularly realistic. But realistic fake fire is expensive and difficult, so I think this is realistically the best you can do until you go to some expensive (four-figure) holographic fireplaces.-You can't turn on the heat without ALSO turning on the fire light.-The controls are unintuitive, and you actually have to look at the manual to figure it out (it's easy once you know, though!)-The knobs don't have a thing to stop them from over-turning, so it'll just keep turning without changing the heat or light settings once you get past a point.Despite the downsides (I can list downsides of ANYTHING), I still love it! It's my favorite thing that I bought last year.

First, it's an electric heater with a 'flame' effect...it still feels REAL when you have it on for ambiance while watching TV or reading. So cozy!!! It's lightweight (but sturdy), easy to set up, and kicks out a LOT Of heat. I did a LOT of research and this heater is the best bang for your buck as far as heat output versus cost, and having the flame on 3 sides. This is the best deal and is a great product.

I bought this for my grand daughters room on the second floor which stays colder in the winter, not any more thisheater warms it up quickly and grand daughters are very pleased with the look of the artificial roaring flame, i onlyhad it for 3 months now and its still working as it should, nice buy for the money.......

I ordered 2 of these fireplaces. One almost worked for 2 hours. The second for 10 minutes. Total junk and rip off.

I loved the picture of this stove, soI purchased it and it arrived quickly. I love that I can control the amount of flames and the heat output, which is great because I bought this for my living room -- the stove sits in front of a large glass patio door, and it lets in the cold! I love everything about this little stove -- it's lightweight yet very sturdy, has a great heater, but I think the thing I love most about it is that it is CUTE! So glad I bought it!

Wonderful for an office or small room. This fireplace is perfect to create a cabin or rustic atmosphere when you cannot have an actual wood burning stove. The unique size maximizes the visual flame affect, which can also be viewed from the open sides. The stove is metal but lightweight, and the only assembly required is to screw in the legs (sturdy plastic) on the bottom of the unit. I am very grateful for the coupon offered with the purchase, free shipping, and delivery was received in under 2 days without Prime! I researched quite a bit before settling on this style and size, and am very pleased overall.
