It works, but it must have sub-par internals. This is on a newer home so all circuits are on arc fault interrupters so I have had the breaker for the disposal pop. This can happen on cheap switches that arc a bit on contact/break.Returned it after the 3rd trip. I learned the box itself may not be UL listed, only the cord is. If that’s true that is misleading.

The disposal air switch kits function well. The tube was a little kinked and needed to be trimmed to work properly. The good value switch was easy to install under the sink. The switch is convenient for quick on and off, looks nice, and works. The stainless steel button matches the color of my kitchen faucet and looks stylish.

For those unaware, this switch has many uses outside of a garbage disposal.This switch is extremely useful for anything you need to turn on temporarily for a short period of time and then turn back off automatically. In my case I used this for a shop vac on my wood cutting table.This way I can put the shop vacuum many feet away and turn it on and off remotely through this switch to quickly vacuum up any wood shavings or sawdust on the table without bending down to turn on the vacuum cleaner.So this is great for many things.
