This is a great set. Sleek appearance, great seal to keep moisture out, good weight, "toggle" to open is easy to use and easy on arthritic hands and thumbs. The holes in the spout are quite large so great for herbs, spices and course grinds. CAUTION for regular salt or even sea salt. I like that it is clear glass and NOT labeled as 'salt' or 'pepper' so many uses!

Good construction. Should not rust. Holes are too big for table use. You will pour too much salt if not very careful. More useful for actual cooking.

The pepper shaker is great for course black pepper because the holes are big, but way to big for salt.

I was pleased with the size of the shakers, the look of the shakers and how they seal real good to keep moisture out. The only thing is the holes are too large. I read reviews that said the holes were too big but I thought I'd get them anyway because I could get use to the larger holes. I have over salted a lot of things because of the large holes. I quit using them.

I found these to be a nice size. They fit nicely on the table without taking up too much room. They are easy to clean off, and always look clean. I put labels on mine and I am happy with that. The little lid that is on them helps to keep in things that belong on the inside to stay on the inside. No spilling. I use them for table salt and ground pepper. I do find the holes to be on the bigger size. Lots of salt comes out if you turn it upside down. So a sideways gentle tap is the best. Sometimes I forget to tell my guests this and they get extra salt.

Use these near my stove. Attractive & practical. Love that they are glass, and have a flip up cover to keep moisture & dust out of salt & pepper. Moisture is always an issue in the humid southern U.S. Some reviews complained that the holes were too big, but I disagree. If you turn them upside down you would probably get too much salt or pepper, but I never do that anyway. Just a gentle sideways shake or two works perfectly. The tops are plastic, even though they look like chrome. This is not an issue for me since it seems to be a sturdy plastic. Great value at a great price.

I bought these specifically to keep my crushed rock salt from turning to a unusable lump and it's worked so far. One thing is the dispenser holes are big so you have to be careful when you shake. It will just cascade out so quickly. I tip it on its side and do a little shimmy with it to just get a tiny bit out of time. Otherwise they're fantastic.
