I was hosting a large gathering with people sitting at multiple tables. I wanted salt and pepper to be available without them having to search the house so I ordered these. Of course other fine spices such as cinnamon could also be added to these. They were so easy to fill with the included little funnels. They looked great on the tables and did the job intended perfectly. I'm so glad that I had them.

This product claims to be corrosion resistant. Not really. Stainless is not Stain Impossible. These shakers elegant looking with a smooth glass finish and stainless steel top. The shaker holes are a perfect opening for putting the right amount of salt or pepper on your food without flooding over your food. Just be aware if you leave salt in the shakers when storing them for your next party, you’ll likely find that the inside of the tops are rusted or clumped up in a white calcium buildup. This is not a manufacturing defect. Salt minerals and steel just don't work well together. Again, these are beautiful shakers. I recommend.HELPFUL HINT: The way I prevent corrosion of the shaker tops is to pour the salt out after each use and put it back in the container from where it came. If you choose leave the salt in the shaker, you can also remove the salt tops, rinse and dry, and do not screw them back on the salt shakers until the next use.
