Falcon JK/JKU Nexus EF 2. 2 Fast Adjust Steering Stabilizers offer a wide range of adjustability with its three-position Fast Adjust Knob featuring soft, medium, and firm settings. Historically, universal shock absorbers and steering stabilizers have been adapted to fit many applications with minimal tuning. Falcon Shocks rewrites the book on damper development. Falcon shock absorbers and steering stabilizers are engineered to meet the unique requirements of the JK Wrangler/JKU Wrangler Unlimited. These Jeep-specific steering stabilizers deliver a properly weighted steering feel and consistent bi-directional turning for balanced and controlled side-to-side steering response and an equal return to center dynamics. Built from the ground up with a focus on fitment and function, the new Wrangler-specific Falcon Nexus EF (Equal Force) Steering Stabilizers deliver the best damping characteristics possible. After a lengthy and painstaking development process, we have delivered these advanced shocks to the awaiting Jeep market. VOLUME OPTIMIZED DAMPING Traditional velocity sensitive steering stabilizers react quickly during low speed turning causing excessive “head toss” on rough terrain. Conventional damping then firms up during faster speeds resulting in inconsistent steering feedback. Falcon’s proprietary Volume Optimized Damping (VOD) features a digressive linear valve that produces quicker ramp up for a properly weighted steering feel, which improves vehicle feedback and control during low-speed turning. VOD also improves the steering stabilizers’ ability to provide consistent bi-directional turning for balanced and controlled side-to-side steering response. I was using the Fox racing version of this, which worked great until it stopped adjusting. The price was slightly better for this and I liked the option to quickly switch from the three tensions settings. I found that this one works well with the medium setting for both highway and sanding roads that have a lot of wash boarding. I'm running the 4" Teraflex short arm lift kit with 37" tires and this works very well for my setup.

This is a great steering stabilizer, upgrade or new addition. Too bad Amazon could not deliver it to me.

Maybe my stock steering stabilier was bad, it was 5 years old. Maybe my tires were too big for the stock stabilizer. None of that matters now. I installed this in about an hour. The factory track bar bolt was tight, but I eventually won. Within 5 minutes of my first ride the Falcon 2.2 stabilizer felt amazing. Firm but responsive and the speed bumps didn't send my steering wheel flying. No bumps did anything. It felt great. +15 HP with the new stabilizer on my 2014 JK. Great product, A+. I should not have waited so long to pull the trigger. (JK review only)

If you have a lifted jeep with larger tires as I do, this product really helps with overall handling. On winding days going down the freeway my jeep used to get pushed around a lot. Now I set the stabilizer too firm and I can do 80mph on the windy days and my jeep stands firm. Everyday driving I set it on medium, gives my jeep nice steering responsiveness but not to stiff. Soft setting is great off road, gives my jeep a smooth control over rough terrain with out a jarring, lose of control feel I used to have with a stock stabilizer.

This thing is a GAME Changer!! I was skeptical about spending $300 on a steering stabilizer but after driving 10 hours on the high way it made the ride comfortable and smooth and then switching to soft and driving on the beach made steering easy. I highly recommend you purchase it it will make a huge difference in your ride.

So I bought this item FULLY understanding it was a dampener, as in to help remove wobble in the steering wheel when you have bigger tires and hit pot holes or rough terrain. However, what I did NOT expect was the added effect once installed to just general daily driving. WOW... omg.. Like I would have made this my first install on my Jeep if I would have known it would have made it felt this amazing when driving. What I noticed as a secondary order effect was that the steering became amazing, that comparable of an SUV or a car. It does NOT remove the slop (left and right play in the steering wheel), however once past that and beginning to turn it feels MUCH much better!NOTES: to really see what it can do put it to "Firm" then drive for about an hour or so on the highway or side roads, then put it to "Med". Once in Medium you will never look back and forget what driving felt like on the Jeep to begin with. It feels hands down incredible. Also to add to this I just finished two 9 hour+ trips back to back on the highway on "Firm" setting and felt like I was in my Tahoe.INSTALL: It isn't too hard.. perhaps two parts will take some time. 1. removing the old metal brace, ugh.. it doesn't like to bend too easy (Fix: Have the wrenches it wants you to use). 2. Removing the main bolt it goes through and replaces (Fix: Lift the Jeep up to remove pressure on said bolt). I did it in my driveway by myself. Other than those two, it's super simple.Hope this review helps someone. I normally don't write these sort of things, but I just had to for this part. Hands down worth every dime.

I just installed this on my 2012 Jeep Sahara. Save yourself some trouble and use a Dremel cut off tool on the old stock tie rod attachment, it will spare you trouble when prying off. All went well, except the directions on the inside box lid said to torque to 15 Foot Pounds, that is 180 Inch Pounds. I tried that, and sure enough it broke off one of the A2 07 Grade 2 stainless steel M6-1.0 X 26mm screws that hole the cap on. I looked it up and torque for Grade 2 M6 Metric bolts should have been 55 Inch Pounds to 80 Inch Pounds, the lesser being if you lubed the machine screws first. I am replacing all four M6 metric machine screws with Allied Titanium Grade 5 M6 screws. They are pricey, but they are rated at 138,000 PSI tensile strength, 344 Brinnell Hardness, as compared to Grade 2 stainless that is only 50,000 PSI tensile strength, and 200 Brinnell Hardness. I have contacted both TeraFlex, the manufacturer, and Allied Titanium, the maker of the titanium machine screws I'm going to replace them with. They well not rust, or be affected by salt, they are lighter, stronger, but pricey. Allied will tell me the max torque for the upgraded machine screws. There are two set screws on the cap, it is possible that they could be torqued at 15 Ft Lbs. They are much larger in diameter than the four M6 cap screws. The directions highlights all six screws in red in the picture, and says tighten all to 15 Ft. Lbs.I read in the product reviews on another web site one of the reviewers said he broke off one of the four screws when torquing as well. I used loc-tite so I didn't even torque to 180 In. Lbs or 15 Ft. Lbs as I used the lower lubed, wet torque. I will update this post once I get the new machine screws installed. I have to wait a couple days till they arrive. I may change my rating, but for now I rated only 4 stars due to the poor directions, and over torque specs.UPDATE: I love the stabilizer. The torque specs are too high for sure on the four M6 bolts, I wouldn't go much over 120 in/lbs on them. I was able to tighten the Grade 5 Titanium M6 screws to 15 in/lbs, and the large set screws (2) to 15 ft/lbs or 180 in/lbs. with no troubles. Use RED loc-tite. You will need a heat gun to remove the screws if you ever do. I have just ordered a new Metalcloak tie rod. I may post some pictures of the stabilizer once I get it on the new tie rod.
