This is a fountain pen bundle that includes a 5 black ink cartridges, 5 blue ink cartridges, ink converter, a pen sleeve and a Jinhao fountain pen. I believe the model is the Jinhao 88, but i couldn't find the real model number in the product description. Note that I bought this for myself originally, then gifted it to a friend to try to get them into fountain pens so I don't have it anymore. But I did like it a lot and was not trying to get rid of it when I gave it away.Build quality: the cap, section and body are metal (brass?) with a nice looking matte black finish. Has a nice bit of weight to it and feels well balanced to me. I got the impression of quality when holding it.Design: Understated, which I really like. May not be for those that like flashy pens. There is some fluting / grooving on the barrel that makes it a little more interesting to look at and feels nice to the touch.Nib, ink flow: I got the fine nib and it was very smooth, surprisingly so. Definitely smoother than my Lamy Safari. Ink flow was slow at first but it opened up after writing for a bit and the flow was good after that. This was one of the first pens I bought and I don't think that I flushed it with water when I received it. It might have removed this issue altogether. Also, I cannot remember which ink I used. It was probably one of included black ink cartridges or Hongdian black ink. Using a different ink may give different results.Pen sleeve: I actually really appreciated the included pen sleeve. I think it is a nice size, protects the pen's surface nicely and has a flap that tucks in to a strap so no part of the pen is exposed. I am trying to find out if / where I can buy the pen sleeves directly so I can protect more of my pens.Overall, I really liked this bundle. I thought the pen was good quality even before considering the price. The pen alone would be a good deal for the $10 I paid, but the fact that it comes with 10 cartridges, a convert and protective sleeve makes the value/$ high

This pen works great. I had bought a cheap one on Temu & it stopped working after using it once. So I decided to try one on Amazon & pay a bit more. That was a great decision.I love the sleek look of the black pen, the weight of the pen, & the smooth flow of the ink. You also get several ink cartridges that should last a while.Highly recommend this pen.

The price to quality ratio on this thing is ridiculous. I've got another Jinhao, a Sailor, and a Parker (with a Faber-Castell in the mail) and honestly? This is my favourite writer right now. It has great heft, it posts well, it feels great in a larger hand, and the fine nib is absolutely fantastic.Honestly, if you're thinking about trying a fountain pen, but don't want something plastic or tiny to get you off the ground, you should absolutely grab this thing. I only wish I knew the model number - I'd love to get it in a few more colours.

I've never had the chance to use a fountain pen, so experience may vary.I already LOVE this pen after ordering one out of curiosity. I always wanted to try a fountain pen, because I love using really fine point pens, so I bought one. The way it writes compared to anything else feels so nice against the paper, and the fine point but thick lines is something I could only ever have dreamed of. It handles faster strokes quite well, although you will need to be holding it at a particular angle, given its design. It has a nice heft to it for being made entirely out of metal, which makes it feel good in the hand.The actual kit it comes with is quite nice, too. You get 10 ink cartridges total (5 black and blue), and a conversion kit if you'd rather have an ink dipped pen instead. I personally wouldn't have a need for the small pouch, but it's a nice touch to make the whole thing feel a little more fancy.This is a REALLY nice pen. If you're someone who loves needle point pens, but want thick lines like a ballpoint, this is it. It's cheap in price, but it feels like you'll have spent 5x as much. Definitely gift material for anyone.

I purchased the Jinhao fountain pen with the extra fine nib, and overall, I'm quite pleased with it. The pen is slightly heavier than the Lamy Safari and Kaweco Sport, but I found the weight to be well-balanced, which adds a nice premium feel.While the nib is labeled as extra fine, it writes more like a fine nib, which isn’t a deal breaker for me. The writing experience is smooth and consistent, making it a joy to use.For the price, this pen offers great value, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish fountain pen.
