I rarely give 5 star reviews. But this shelf does exactly as stated and better.It is strong and easy to put togather. The variability in size options helps alot especially when you are dealing with specific size requirements.The price if more than fair it is 100% worth it. If I ever need more of these, I will be glad to come right back to get more!

Threaded some velcro ties through the slots on this shelf and mounted my Homeassistant Green, 8-port switch & cased Pi Zero on a single shelf in a way that they don't shift around. Very impressed with build quality & effectiveness.

I used this with a wireless mic assembly to hold the small mixer unit, and it's the perfect depth for what i needed. Well built, and the mounting adapters make it easy to use on the U-mount or other mountings.

It works fine for what I needed (supporting a cable modem and small router) but I'm not really impressed by the build quality. The sheet metal is very thin and flexes significantly even under fairly light loads.When shipped, the side rails for hanging in the rack are not attached to the shelf base and you have to bolt them on yourself. There are different options for mounting it with either a lip at the front or back, and with and without a small gap at the bottom. I don't really see the point of all the options; it just makes it more confusing to assemble.Overall it's not bad, but there are there options for only a little more money that are noticeably stronger and easier to use, so I wouldn't really recommend this one.

I appreciate the attention to detail in the design, such as the rounded edges to prevent damage to equipment or arms when installing.Installation is effortless, and the shelf comes with the necessary screws and components to securely mount it into a rack. The price is also very reasonable for such a high-quality product.Overall, if you're in need of a compact, yet durable shelf for your network or AV equipment rack and cabinet, the Jingchengmei 1U Disassembled Vented Cantilever Server Rack Mount Shelf is an excellent choice. Gute Qualität, stabil... meine FritzBox und mein Raspberry Pi (PiHole) im Serverschrank passen drauf, ist auch noch etwas Platz übrig für kleinere Komponenten.

I modify it to make it a horizontal mount on a vertical mount server rack. There was holes in the middle of the rack, but doesnt line up with the holes on the bracket. I have to drill to make holes (not big deal). Thats the only thing to improve on the product. But other that, grest product.

This looks good, on the cheaper side but as long as you don’t plan to do pull ups off it, you’ll be fine.In terms of quality, it’s a standard type of aluminum. Nothing special. The black coat is a matte finish and on the duller side of things.The primary reason this is a 3-star and not 1-star is because this was a used unit, likely a previous customer return. No, I did not order new and that part was fine with me. At first glance the shelf had a few scratches, some signs that it had screws in at one point, and a small bend on the lip. This was all fine with me.Going to install this thing into a new cabinet in the garage, for smaller/rugged equipment, I went to mount the ears to the shelf and didn’t notice any potential issue.Trying to get this shelf into the slots of the cage made me realize it didn’t fit without some force. Pulling it back, placing in reverse and trying to line up the mount screws demonstrated that it wouldn’t work. The mount holes on the shelf extend several cm past the mount of the cage.I originally believed that the ears that mount in addition to the side walls of the shelf added the cm I spoke of to make it not work. But after messing with it and trying to line it up with others I can’t be sure. The bend I spoke of before bends inward and does not appear to cause the ears to protrude out further. I can only assume this is the reason the previous customer returned these.Trying to line it up with either a wall mounted cabinet, such as the shallow semi-closed 4u-10u or a vertical hanging 1u-3u seems to be off. But lining up to a 15u open frame seems to work. I’m just unable to actually try mount it to this rack as it’s completely filled up.I really wished it worked and didn’t have to look for another shelf for my use case.
