I bought this in January 2025. It arrived in great shape with no damaged or bent pieces. All the hardware was present. Assembly was easy, though I did find it to be a little easier with a 3'' socket extension. Everything lined up fine and this fits several pieces of Ubiquiti rack-mount network equipment, exactly like a 19'' rack should. It feels sturdy in its free-standing configuration. I'm happy with my purchase.

Easy to put together, just need a half inch wrench and or a socket. Well made. Once I saw they were modular, I bought another one and stacked it. Not all 4 holes lined up that well but I got it to work. I am stocked on the quality and the shelves are a must. A must have for A/V gear, or com room closet. You are winning with this one!

J'ai acheté la version 15U il y'a un an, j'ai pris le temps de me forger une bonne opinion pendant ce temps. Pour une maison ça me semble être le choix idéal en termes de taille.Qualité de fabrication au top, acier bien épais et bien fini, laqué noir, sans défaut apparent. La structure permet quelques petites customisations : j'ai par exemple découpé un plateau en lamellé collé que j'ai installé sur le dessus pour y poser une imprimante et divers chargeurs pour téléphones / PC portables / Manettes de consoles. Les deux petites étagères flottantes fournies avec le rack sont très pratiques et tiennent du poids (sur l'une j'ai un NAS 4 baies et un onduleur 550VA posés dessus).Vraiment très content de mon achat, sachant qu'il me semble suffisamment grand pour se montrer évolutif et permettre d'installer un NAS, un petit homelab, un ou plusieurs switchs, un NVR pour vos caméras de surveillance, etc... Le seul point négatif que je pourrais souligner et le manque de vis de fixations pour le matériel réseau (17 seulement fournis avec le miens, soit 16+1 spare, ça me semble peu).

J’ai acheté cette baie réseaux pour y installer mon infra réseaux.Les matériaux sont de très bonne qualité.Le seul problème majeur est l’espace intérieur pour y loger l’équipement - il y a un sens où on peut fixer les écrous à cage - dans ce sens, le matériel réseau ne rentre pas - j’ai été obligé de forcer pour être capable de faire rentrer le switch, l’étagère et tout le reste du matériel.Sinon, pour du matériel sono, c’est un excellent achat.

Yeah I'm happy managed to customise to my needs.Note if you do intend to customise, buy echogear extra fixing hardware! Front and rear shelf are screw fits not normal rack insets. Extra rack shelf or blank etc can be any other brand.

I have this installed on 16" wood studs. Daughter assembled the rack for me while I was working on another part of the project, and she had no issues following instructions. I did give her a power screwdriver to speed the process with all the screws. I used a CyberPower Surge Protector at the top instead of the included support bracket to gain some extra room. I also cut a piece of plywood for the top, since it does not come with anything to make the top into a shelf.Part of my reason for purchasing was the included shelves. They are of good quality and I like the velcro straps and moveable shelf stops that come with this.While the sides have square holes for the better rack mounting bolts, I could find no way to turn the rack and still wall mount it, so I am just using the threaded holes and screws to mount a few devices.For my use, I have two amps, a receiver, a blu ray player on a shelf, and a few smaller items. If you are actually mounting devices to the rack, you will probably need more screws than come with this rack.This rack is very sturdy and has no issue with the heavy A/V equipment that I have in it. Once assembled and mounted to the wall, there is no flex in it. If I were just using for lighter networking equipment, I could get by with a less expensive and less sturdy rack.I would purchase again for my A/V needs. I am redoing my network room, and will probably purchase something less heavy duty, and less expensive. I don't need this much depth for a home network rack (no deep server), but the depth worked well for my deeper amps and receiver with banana plug connections.

Assembly was easy not too many parts just a lot of bolts to tighten which is good it means it's sturdy. It came in a lot of boxes which means it was well protected but also it was a comically large amount of boxes for what it is. Two shelves too which is handy for any hardware not in the rack mount format. A good solid free-standing rack at a good price ($299 July 2023) compared to others I looked at. I'd recommend the castors too since it can hold 600lbs (272kg) moving that is much easier with wheels!

For the price you pay, this is well worth it. Sturdy, very easily assembled, and looks good. If you have problems with alignment, loosen the bolts slightly and then install the front plates. Then re-tighten the bolts. At that point you should be able to install anything. Only real complaint is the 1u shelf. It’s slightly more narrow than the 2 and while equipment fits into it, it’s tight. Comes with screws, rack bolts, feet, wall mount hardware, everything you need. Just be careful with the supplied screws. Threads are finicky. Don’t drive them in until you’ve got them aligned. A drill set to “drive” and low torque will have you up and running in no time.
