I measured the hooks at 2.44" front to back. My rack tubing is 2.35" square, so the hooks fit nicely for me with just enough wiggle room.The overall build quality is good. There were some sharp edges on the plastic cup liners, but that is a minor issue. I expect these to last a long time.

Great hooks. However there is not a protective rubber as stated in the item details. Instead it is a hard plastic , I would not have purchased them if I had known this. Wrong information given on purchase.

Bought the 2.5” hook for my 2.375” rack and the hook was too small. Measured it and found the 2.5” depth was actually 2.33”.

One of the worst parts about cheap racks is that the j hooks are really cheesy. And since most cheap racks are an odd size (2.5”x2.5”) it’s hard to get aftermarket stuff for them. These j hooks were a major upgrade. They are super beefy and have a hard plastic that guards the bar. The only bad part is the screws that hold the plastic to the metal we’re not screwed in all the way so they protrude and the bar rubs against them a little bit. Making matters worse, the screws were all stripped out so I can’t tighten them in more. That’s kind of a dumb thing when everything else is so good. So 3/5 stars.

These seemed very well made, with some nice plastic pieces to soften the noise and protect your bar. But ultimately I returned them unused as the drop wasn't what I needed. The drop is 4" from the center of the pin to where the bar rests.

I used these on my 2.5 x 2.5 inch weider power rack that I bought 20 years ago. These are perfect size for 2.5 x 2.5 inch tubing but I did have to drill 1 inch holes as my rack did not have holes that big. The 1 inch holes for a 2.5 x 2.5 inch sqaure tubing need be run all the way through the tubing as these jhooks have 3 inch pins that are longer than 2.5 inch tubing is thick. These things work perfect. They are very heavy duty and well made. No complaints.

These are well made. Similar in design as expensive brands which are not sold on Amazon. Fit for my Extreme Monkey 3x3 rack was perfect. Protective material on all contact points eliminates scratches on rack. You can also pick these up directly from seller when buying on their site to save on shipping/price check locations.
