Your cart is empty. The factory plastic barbell is approximately .020” to loose so particles as big as 500 Microns can leak passed the factory Barbell. When oil leaks pass the Barbell it goes unfiltered directly to the Cam Bearing, Lifters, Crank and Rod Bearings. Your oil filter will filter out approximately 25 Microns depending on the brand of filter. Our Aluminum Precision Billet Barbell fits with approximately .001” clearance which will let only about 20-25 Microns pass by, that is the same as the filter.
Another important part is the shaft of the Barbell. The oil has to flow around it to get through to the oil port. Our Billet Barbell has a 30% smaller shaft for much less flow restriction.

Slid right into the old dumbbells spot no issues. Barely had to push it into the hole, just a little force to get the oring inside. Motor I put it into is a 2000 5.7 ls1

After sanding and sanding it down to size it fit. It tightened up in the last 1/4 inch.. when I tried to remove it it snapped off in the block. Do not recommend. Find another vendor.

Buyers beware, this product is junk. Bent while trying to install it then snapped off in the block while trying to remove it. Now I have try to remove it somehow. Waste of my money and time, should have just bought a factory part. Lesson learned the hard way!

This raises your oil pressure AND prevents oil from bypassing your oil filter. This 'Bypass Delete Plug' adds tremendous life to your engine due to improved filtration. BUT, if you go to very high mileage between oil filter changes this is not for you (

This galley plug does not fit without removing material from the plug ends. If you want another project and you have lots of free time this is the plug for you.

Recommended to upgrade the stock plastic spool, by many friends that have experience with LS engines. The fit was perfect, lubed it with engine oil and carefully tapped it in with plastic hammer. Make sure it's going in straight, don't gorilla this part and you'll be fine

Man, that was a tight fit to get it into the engine. Afraid it was going to break and then I'd be *****. Make sure everything is clean and lube it up. Had to "screw" it in with very firm pressure

It is a tight fit but dont be alarmed. Lube the Oring and send it in with a dead blow or brass hammer.
