I bought these to use with a 5/8" stainless steel pin on gym equipment. These collars fit the pin perfectly and secure well. The finish looks decent and is fitting for the price.

My intent was to use these collars on my new drill press table to prevent the spinning shaft (that raises or lowers the drill press table) from migrating.I made a drill press table for my Delta 11-990 drill press. Unfortunately the crank that lowers and raises the table couldn't turn fully since the new table got in the way. Previous You Tube videos show you how to relocate the crank to the front of the table. In order to do this you need to buy a shaft, mesh gears to change the direction of the shaft and couplers to prevent the shaft from sliding back and forth. I ended up moving the crank to the right edge of the table instead of the front of the table. There seemed to be less resistance to turning the shaft this way, and for my purposes, I didn't want the handle sticking out of the front of the table. The package comes with 4 shaft collars with set screws. I ended up using one collar (this collar sits between the crank and the oak block) to secure the other collar inside the oak block (other collar is set inside the oak block, sits in a 1/2" diameter 3/8" deep hole). The collar that sits in the oak block acts as a bushing to hold the 1/2" axle. (the 1/2" axle was obtained from Lowes, and is actually 0.495" as measured by my digital calipers). The fit is perfect and the axle spins easily inside of this collar. So, I used one of these stop collars as a stop collar and the other one as a bushing to house my 1/2" shaft. The collars appear to be nicely machined. Very happy with the apparent quality.

I ended up ordering two more sets as they did the job of securing new hand truck wheels. They seem solid and durable. The Alan key set screw seemed to be an odd size. None of my keys quite fitted. Or, rather, they fitted some but not all. (?) Otherwise these did the job well and were delivered on time.
