Got these for a home project. I needed them to put on a 1/2-inch steel rod. I wondered if they were going to be a little big since they are sized for metric, but the set nut secures them just fine, and they work for the 1/2-inch rod. Fit securely and work great.

These clamp collars are very useful. I do a bit or lathe and mill work and these fit pefectly for my use. I ordered the 25 mm and just lightly bored them to out to 1 inch...25.4mm. The clamp aciton is fine, and the clamp screw is well made. I would not hesitate to reorder them.
