Slick stainless cables undergo a polishing process to further remove imperfections. This creates a smoother surface with lower friction than PTFE-coated cables. With no coating, these are highly durable and compatible with all performance housings and lubricants. Typically used on high-end bikes, by riders wanting improved performance. Gold tint is applied for easy identification.

Technology
LEX-SL - Linear steel strands around a Slick-Lube liner
Linear strands of steel are used to encircle the Slick-Lube Liner creating a compressionless ring. This delivers responsive, precise, crisp performance necessary in shift applications.
- The Pro Polished Slick cable combined with a Slick-Lube liner offer enhanced shifting precision and long-lasting performance
- 1x kits are perfect for bikes with only a rear derailleur or an internally geared hub
- Black kits contain gloss black housing with silver logos; Stealth Black kits have matte black housing featuring black logos

The product itself is very good quality. However, some of the fittings were missing from the product so were either not packed at the factory or went missing at some point after.

OEM replacement for my bike. Easy to install with proper cable cutting tools. Had all the needed frame boss caps, end caps, and related adapters (more than I needed), and it shifts smooth as butter now. Cables routed easily and as expected.
