purchased these to use with shift cables, which I replace more than brake cables. Diameter is too large... when crimped, they fall off. maybe sell a mix or offer one that. most people need?

Frayed shifter cable and brake cable wire ends look pathetic and are dangerous to work around. These cable ends are nice looking, easy to apply, and do a good job at a good price.

not only are these very cool, in particulr the red ones IMHO, but the price here is excellent compared with specialist bike stores. Personally, I don't think there's a bike out there that wouldn't look better with an andoised crimp, and each one must therefore be worth at least a second off a 40km TT. (please note, anodising does rub off with injudicious criming, so you're going to need an extremely expensive crimping plier to make the extra second promise count)

I personally love to dress up my bikes and I like everything to match or accentuate the paint schemes. Many people don't care about the small stuff such as the cable crimps, valve caps, and bar end plugs because functionally the look doesn't really matter. I do care, however, and that sparked my search for something different than the standard silver end crimps. After a lot of searching I finally landed on the Jagwire end crimps pack with gold, black, and red. Jagwire makes great stuff for bikes so I had no hesitations in purchasing these crimps. Overall the fit and finish of these crimps a great. Inserting the cables into the crimps is easy enough due to the larger lip at the mouth. No my end crimps stand out from the crowd!

Great subtle way to bling up the bikes. Look good, are well made (eg; don't crimp colour off when fitting) and a good price. They arrived in good time too. Well pleased.

I was updating my ultegra cables to Jagwire cables but used some old cable ends I've had around for years. They worked well. Then I saw these and realized they would match my bike much better.The bag is filled with these cable ends. I first put the black on and I immediately noticed the difference. cars were getting out of my way and college girls were chasing me down the street. Wow!Then I wondered, what if, I mean, really, what if I put on GOLD cable ends? So, I did it. Then all you know what broke loose! I went from the middle of my weekend rides to pulling them all the way into the headwinds. Suddenly I was dropping other riders right and left. And the chicks? The chicks went wild! Women would drive past me in their cars and flash their you know whats at me! I was a cycling GOD!Now I must tell you, with all this success .... I'm afraid to know what would happen if I put on the RED cable ends. I wonder if I could handle it? Could the world handle it? I'll update this as soon as I know.

This assortment of cable end crimps will last a while for the average user. I suppose I could have purchased a lifetime supply of regular aluminum ones for about the same amount but these are stylish. They fit either the brake cables or derailleur cables. The fit on derailleur cables is looser though so you have to crimp them tightly.Others have commented that they color comes off when you crimp them. That may be true if you are using a regular pair of pliers but I didn't have any trouble using them with my Park cable cutter and crimp tool. The first one I crimped I put a small piece of cloth around it so it wouldn't mark but I found it wasn't really necessary. They look great.

Just right for a bike owner who from time to time has to change or re-adjust cables and doesn't want or need a bulk pack of 500 or so. Frequent users or shop owners will be better off ordering bulk, tough.Jagwire products are quality to the detail, and that includes their cable end crimps. I was weary that they might not fit "standard" cables (Jagwire cables are smaller in diameter than the average stuff) but yes, they do, even if the cable is lightly frayed and still can be sort of straightened out.A hint: One doesn't need a specific crimping tool; an electrician's crimping pliers (for connectors and terminals) will do as well. Use the smallest diameter on the tool and it'll be fine :-)

クロスバイクのリアブレーキワイヤーを入れ替えるためこの商品を購入しエンド処理をした。色が選べるのでロードの方は車色に合わせて黒にしようと思う。前に他のメーカーのエンドキャップを購入したがちょっと引っ張っただけで取れてしまうものであった。この商品も同じ。前はニッパーで挟んだが今回はネジザウルスで挟んだので大丈夫だった。使用上何も問題が無いので★5つ

It's bling for the bike, and just about everyone thinks my bike is super fancy now that I have these cable ends. It makes me want to get another bike or just add some random cable ends to my bike to round out the large number I bought. The most difficult part of these is picking which color to use. Gold is showy but direct while definitely being blingtastic, red is important, and black is subdued while getting its message across. Some heat shrink in a complementary or contrasting color might be the next step. People in cars stop me and ask where I got these, they are that good!
