It works? I wouldn’t stake my reputation on it since its performance falls into such a gray area that I doubt its effectiveness could be proven. Plus it requires a separate expensive test kit to approximate its level of saturation. It could be pink water for all we know! And THATS my opinion on the matter. You’re welcome.

We have an in-ground vinyl liner bromine pool. Two summers ago we treated it very heavily with algae cleaner not realizing we were adding a lot of copper into the pool (it was super crystal clear that year!). It was closed for the winter and when we opened it for the next summer the stairs had green staining on half of the steps. The vinyl lining had a few stain spots as well. After a lot of researching I finally tried this out after reading about it on one little post on Trouble Free Pools. I was really skeptical but was willing to try. Surprisingly it actually did remove all the stains. In fact, our stairs were whiter than they have ever been. I will keep this on my list and maybe do a treatment every season when we open the pool. Every year we learn something new!

Product was recommended by a friend. My pool had green stains on the liner and stairs. I poured 2 bottles in the pool and the next afternoon the stairs were bright white, and the liner looked great. Definitely recommend this product.

I had a brown stain starting to show my white fiberglass pool. I treated it with chlorine shock and algicide but to no avail. I put a bottle and a half of the pink stuff in a 20,000 gallon pool and it took about two days and all the brown stains were gone. Usually in February how are you citric acid with the same results but with the pink stuff it doesn’t interfere with the pool chemicals.

I live in the country and my water has a lot of iron...which makes the pool turn green. I wouldn't mind but since I'm blonde, my hair takes on that tint...unless you're ready for Cosplay, green is not a good color. This stuff works like Magic (hahaha). I use about a 1/3 of the bottle, so it lasts for months. Came very well packaged. I'll be purchasing again and highly recommend this and the seller.
