Doubtful and reluctant. This stuff was expensive for two containers! However, it worked perfectly and removed every bit of the rust stains left by the Clorox brand salt!Worked best by working in smallish sections and allowing it to work for the thirty seconds.

I got my pool perfectly balanced and BOOM! Metal stains all over the fiberglass pool. We saw this on a You Tube video and ordered it along with the metal magnet and Sparkle Up. As soon as the Stain Erase hits the surface of the pool, the stain disappears like magic. Amazing. Followed the directions and our pool is back to looking beautiful.

This stuff is magic. We live in an area where are don’t close the pool for the winter - but it’s an old pool and we don’t have a cover. So by April it’s a bit yucky looking and has yellow around edges, the skimmer, the steps, etc. I found this on YouTube and it works immediately to make all that disappear and leave the pool surfaces and water crystal clear. Amazing!

Used in our granite pool, had iron stains for years with no luck in getting it out with certain scrubs or chemicals. This worked immediately and made the bottom of the pool look brand new! Only complaint is that it doesn’t get the walls very well since it just sinks. Letting it run and circulate overnight makes a small difference with the walls but not a huge difference. I already ordered my second shipment of this stuff to get all the little places I missed. Definitely recommend!

Im posting this to help others find info about removing iron stains from their pool.Im no pool expert just an average homeowner who found his pool stained this spring.I tried super shocking and wire brushing and nothing helped. At one point I considered I may be looking at draining and repainting.I found some info about BioGuard Erase Iron Stain Remover and watched some YouTube videos about it.I ended up buying a bottle and sprinkled a tiny bit along the wall where the staining was the worst. It was immediately effective.I put the rest of the bottle in and ran the pump for 12 hours. Based on my pool size it was recommended I use 1.5 bottles but I was a bit nervous about over doing it so I stuck with the one bottle.I followed it up with a bottle of Bioguard Pool Magnet and I plan to use Bioguard Kleen It on my filter cartridges in a few days.My pool looks freaking fantastic! My advice is to test a small spot with the product before going hog wild but if you have iron stains you should expect great results from this product.

The product did remove stains from the pool walls and steps, but I believe there has been a negative reaction with Cal Hypo (granular chlorine). When I add cal hypo, water turns green. I also used CuLator to remove the copper and iron from the water. This product does not remove metals, it is a sequestratrant so the metal ions must be removed. If you use this, only use liquid chlorine in your pool.
