I've pointed this camera toward the bird feeder. It's fast enough to catch birds in flight and give a view that the eye can't see. The night viewer has taken quite a few nice pictures of deer. Also, I've charged it and didn't put in backup batteries. It's been a month, and the solar charger has kept it working. Since the month was over January and February, I'll assume the solar charger will work even better during months with more hours of sunshine.

ich habe die 220er mit 940 nm Led. Bis jetzt funktioniert die Kamera einwandfrei.Sie macht gute Bilder bei Tag und Nacht. Der Blitz ist auf Max Weite sehr stark.Das Solarpanel funktioniert einwandfrei.Was wünschenswert wären etwas stärker schliesßende Verschlüsse, die sind leicht zu öffnen.

I gave my camera up as I have no night life. 😊 my friends enjoy the pictures the camera takes of the critter life that pass through their property. They send me pictures over the computer so it's close to having my own. 😊 Camera has been no problem. works well. cheers

Pros: It works great when there is sun. Easy to set up and good picturesCons: Does not take night pictures in the winter. The battery compartment is in the bottom of the camera so you have to fight to get them in or take down the camera. Does not have a quick disconnect. It is strapped to the post or tree.It has a battery backup supposedly. But if the day is rainy and cloudy the solar batteries don’t charge very well as to be expected. And in the winter we have shorter daylight time. I get no nighttime pictures. I have two of these cameras. I thought maybe the batteries might be bad so I changed them. Still no pictures.So if you want nighttime pics, I would not recommendUpdate:The seller contacted me and offered a refund. Truly surprised me so I have to give them 5 stars for that. Have updated to 4 though because I had to dismount the cameras and charge them with the cord provided. Since then they are working again. The hardest thing about the setup with them is mounting them so that is why the 4 instead of 5

Questa è la settima fototrappola che acquisto e devo dire che per ora supera le mie migliori aspettative.Fra le precedenti, Apeman e Ceyomur solo 2 sono rimaste ancora in uso, delle altre, tre presentavano malfunzionamenti fin da subito mentre una è appena morta perchè si è tranciato il cavo di collegamento posto nella cerniera fra corpo macchina e pacco batterie. Di fronte al desiderio di ripristinare la mia batteria di tre fototrappole, ho deciso di provare la Zekker 1520P, esternamente quasi identica alla vecchia Apeman con il pratico portello che oltre a non avere collegamenti elettrici nelle cerniere, permette di operare con grande comodità e verificare facilmente l'inquadratura nella fase di posizionamento. Ero scettico di fronte a tutte performance promesse di questo nuovo modello ma mi sono fatto tentare dal prezzo decisamente competitivo. Con mia grande sorpresa ho scoperto che la Zekker 1520P unisce tutte le caratteristiche positive delle vecchie Apeman come struttura esterna menu intuitivo robustezza e scheda sd di grande dimensione (le micro sd nel bosco si perdono facilmente), a tutte le nuove performance promesse come: pannello solare, batteria ricaricabile (sia con pannello, sia con cavo usb), velocità di scatto, nitidezza di immagine, selettore a due posizioni anzichè a tre (nei vecchi modelli a tre posizioni a me capitava spesso di selezionare la posizione sbagliata e non trovare foto nella scheda). La utilizzo solo da pochi giorni, per ora il mio giudizio è certamente molto positivo, le cinque stelle sono più che meritate, spero che questa fototrappola possa dimostrarsi anche duratura. Sto comunque già prendendo in considerazione di acquistarne un'altra uguale.

After I left this review, they reached out to me and painlessly replaced the unit. When it arrived I charged it, stuck the old memory card in it, and it did the same thing. SD card had corrupted and both the original and new unit work fine with a new SD card. Definitely 5 star customer serviceVideo and picture quality wasn’t the best, but it worked for the price. After about 4 months it would fully charge, but starts then shuts off repeatedly when you turn it on. Junk

ONE-YEAR REVIEW: Today is 1/18/25 and I now have seven of these cameras and my opinion is still the same a year later. Also, I have a couple of additional evaluations. I have never had to recharge the original solar-powered battery nor have I had to replace any of the back-up batteries in any of the cameras. The solar panel does an excellent job of keeping the power at 100%. Even in near-zero temperatures the battery performs very well. I even have kept one of the cameras set up where it manually takes a picture every 20 seconds for 16 hours per day and then plays back in a time-lapse video. The solar battery has handled it very well. Two of the cameras do take numerous pictures at the brightest time of day even without any movement. I tried adjusting those cameras in different directions regarding the travel of the sun, but they still take numerous photos. Since the battery doesn't drain as a result, that does not bother me as I can just fast forward through the pictures without wildlife. As mentioned in my previous reviews the price at which I paid is a bargain. I will review again if anything changes.UPDATED REVIEW: I like the cameras so much that I now have three and have just ordered the fourth one. The first camera was received 1-12-24, and today is 3-2-24. I've included some pictures from two of the cameras. The pictures seem crisp, especially when the weather is clear. I haven't had to change any batteries yet and that is a huge plus as far as cost. The cameras are set on "High Sensitivity" and take many pictures. I may change the sensitivity setting to "Medium" on one of the cameras at some point. I have been purchasing these cameras by clipping the 40% discount coupon off of the regular price, which makes it just under $35 each. That is incredible for a solar powered camera. The only negative thing I can really say so far is that I had one of the strap buckles break when I moved the camera to another tree and tightened it too much. The buckle is plastic and I put too much pressure on it, but I've had the same problem with several other brand cameras as well. At some point I may switch over to small ratchet straps. Again, I highly recommend this camera and will update the review again if anything changes my opinion in the future.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have had this camera out in the woods for two weeks and several different deer, squirrels, raccoons, and a fox have showed up in the pictures. Here's what I can say so far... I have several other brands of cameras, including a cellular camera, that I have used for years and many of them still perform okay (some didn't make it much more than a year though). This camera takes decent pictures compared to my other cameras. Set-up and the initial battery charge was easy. The strap is good quality, and the overall construction of the camera appears to be strong. I'm using lithium batteries as the back-up due to cold weather and the length of time the batteries will be in the camera. A bonus is that it only takes four batteries as opposed to the eight that are required in my other cameras. Time will tell and I will update this review if my opinion changes, but I ordered another one today. The only negative I have noticed so far is that the outer edge of the nighttime pictures appears darkened. The main part of the picture is very well lit though. The bottom line is that if I can get a few years out of this camera then I will be pleased. I very seldom buy the best of anything and always use the ratings/comments before purchasing. It is too early to tell how well the solar charger works in conjunction with the built-in battery, as well as the back-up battery life. For the money it is five stars. If it was a higher priced camera then I would give it four stars. Again, I will modify my review in the future if necessary.

Been using this for a few weeks now. The battery is now around 50%. So probably going to have to take it down and charge it soon. For the price it's just ok imo. Pics in the day are definitely better quality. At night I can barely make out the deer antlers at the feeder 10' away. This is my 10th trail cam. Have 5 different brands. This probably has the worst images. I like that I didn't have to swap batteries yet. But not looking forward to having to take it down to charge and then have to put it back up.Update had to already take the camera down to charge it and replace the 4AA batteries. It's been up since the end of September. So little over a month. Luckily I live close to the trail cam that I was able to do so. Really wanted to like this trail cam. Maybe the next gen version of this will be a lot better.3rd update. Had to take down the camera to charge again. Seems to last about a month even with the AA's I put in.4th update. Wife unknowingly bought me this same camera. This camera is absolute junk! I put the camera up on the 18th! Today on the 22nd the camera has no charge left and AA's are down to half!!!5th updated: Company reached out and sent me another camera. This current camera has only been out for 5 or so days. But has 100 pics and videos on it and is still currently at 100%. So far pleased that it's retaining power unlike the previous one with a bad battery.If you need a entry level camera that you don't have to replace batteries every week. This might be for you.6th update. After having 4 of these cameras. 2 of them have quit working completely. Won't charge at all. The other 2 die after a days use. Not happy with these and am now searching for another option.
