I bought a replacement speedbore for one I've had in my tools for about 50 years. I don't need one real often, but the one I had "wasn't cutting it very well" any more. I hand filed it enough to finish my project, but it wasn't too great, so I thought I"d treat myself to a factory fresh one.

Used this in an application that required accuracy and this spade bit performed well. Cut the wood evenly and quickly. Bore diameter was consistent. Tool was in good shape after use and will hopefully last a long time to come. Highly recommend this one.

These are very sharp, My first use was drilling through 3-2x4's with my battery drill, went through them like a hot knife through butter, with very little torque needed to hold the drill.
