These things just work. They don't do nice and clean finish work, that's not why I use them. They chew up 2x's and old lumber like it's nothing and stay sharp.I haven't used anything but Diablo bits for at least 2 years now, as long as they don't change them I'll keep using them.

You just can’t go wrong with Diablo. I introduced my husband to Diablo saw blades when we first got together and he really liked them. He mentioned that he needed new spade bits so I got him these and I’m pretty sure he wonders why he used cheap, crappy ones for so many years.

There are no sharp cutting edge on the blades and the tip broke on fist use in soft pine. I would not recommend these to anyone. I compared it to a dewalt set I still have and the difference is huge, these cut extremely poorly and the quality is inferior.Update: Amazon says contact the manufacturer for a warranty; which I did. However Freud said this."I am contacting you on behalf of Diablo in regards to your recent feedback on our spade bits. I am disappointed that your experience with our product was not successful. We strive to be the very best in quality and performance in every product that we make. This said, we do not sell the Diablo product on Amazon, so the product you received is not sourced directly from us and possibly not even from us at all. I would recommend you return the product through Amazon."I've also uploaded a photo to show how they preform. The red ones are these and the clean ones are Dewalt. Look at the chip-out from these bits compared to the Dewalt.Lastly, the Diablo blades are amazing so its not the company, only these bits that are not high quality for my needs.

I have always had great luck with Freud blades for my saws so I figured why not try their bits. I have only used them a few times since my purchase and can say that I am not disappointed so far.
