The water pipe it came with was significantly shorter than pictured, comically short. Pump has to be turned all the way up to move water and even then it's just barely doing it.

I'm in the process of preparing a rather elaborate April Fool's joke, and thought this would be the perfect addition to it. This "faucet" is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are good. Gives a good illusion. Works well. Nicely whimsical. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

When I was a kid they used to have a large version of this Perpetual faucet in the window of a store we used to walk by a lot. I was absolutely fascinated, and at the time completely baffled as to how it could work.As an adult the opportunity to own one of these things, even though I now know how it works, was too much to resist.And it works quite nicely, you can stick the little um on it section cups in the bottom of a water source, the faucet rides on the riser column and the water looks like it is perpetually falling from the faucet. We have run ours for about 24 hours Straight at one time, and there were no issues it kept on working.The only caveat, and its minor, is that even though the faucet is brass-colored it does not begin to look like brass. Its a little plastic-y but very quickly that doesn't matter. It probably makes it feasible to deploy the thing without something holding the faucet up in the air other than the column of water.Fun gadget, interesting table display, works well -- what's not to like? :-)
