Overall, I like the aesthetics of this fountain, although it has some quirks that require tweaking. If you fill this up with water and plug it in right away, you're going to have a mess. The water wheel spins way too fast, flinging water everywhere. The pump has a flow adjustment which does not solve this issue. I removed the water wheel, separated the two halves, and filled the hollow part in the center with plumber's putty. Doing this weighed the wheel down enough for it to rotate slower. Even with the wheel spinning slower, there is a mild splash zone at the front. At the top of the fountain where the water comes out, there is a gap, allowing water to stream down inside and splash out the back. I filled this gap with plumber's putty as well, which sealed the leak. It can be an ok fountain if you're willing to make adjustments.
