I recently bought an e-kit and bought a rug for it. Sometimes I hammer on it and I'm afraid it might disturb my downstairs neighbors, even though they swear up and down that they can't hear my existence up there. I saw this and wanted to make double sure that it wouldn't travel through the floor. Light weight and slip resistant. Feels durable, but again, it's under my rug so it's not like it'll be taking the brunt of my footwork. Felt soft when I took it out of the box and placed it under my mat. Does provide a bit of extra cushioning for my feet.

This rug is thin and does not do a very good job of protecting hard floor. It also does not stay in place especially well, and it attracts pet hair like a magnet. Worst of all for me, Velcro doesn't stick to it, which means me kick pedal scoots all over the place when I play.For the price, I recommend just getting a basic area rug from Walmart instead.

Needed a drum rug for my hight school Jazz band and found this one on Amazon. It is sturdy and of good quality. It is also light weight and is much better than any drum rugs that I have used in the past. I highly recommend it.

Functionally works great very light weight easy to haul around.Attracts lots of dirt on the top surface. Don’t use it around a dirty floor or grass. You’ll find it on your mat! Wish it was a bit thicker.
