Fly Mask for Mini's. Miniature horses need fly protection too. Great little mask. Fits all miniature horses.

There wasn’t any rigidity in order to keep the mesh off the eyes. It was like having a pice of fishing net draped over their face. Not useful at all

I personally needed something that was going to stay off his eye. This looks like it will sit right on top and cling to his eye :( maybe even re-irritate his eyelid eventually which is what I’m trying to avoid. Other wise it was a good fit for him he is a slightly larger headed mini.

I actually was surprised when I felt the soft mesh that it's held up this long, but I love it. I'm not having issues with the fabric laying on my mule's eyes as one other review said .. and she's kept it one which is more than I can say for other products that I've tried. I'd really like to see if I can get a bigger size for my regular horses ...

Made with Velcro both behind the ears and under the cheeks, so it’s hard to tell which way is up. Not sure how long it will last, but it’s working for this summer. Nice and soft.

Opened the package and was disappointed in how flimsey it was felt and looked.Put it on her (pony) and she likes it, she can see but the flies and shavings do not getin her eyes.

These masks are way too flimsy and useless. The fabric is super soft but it does not hold away from my horses eyes at all and was catching their eyelashes. Very disappointed.

It fit great for my mini horses who are normal head size I would say. easy to put on. I wish it came in grey or lighter color thats all. soft and does not push on their eyes. great price.

I read the reviews before buying as I had been having a hard time finding a fly mask for my 29 1/2 inch mini. I'm afraid I was won over by three things, the thinner fleece binding, the color (I love blue) and the overall appearance in the photos. When I got it, I was surprised at how soft it was compared to other masks and also noticed the material. It is the same fabric they make skrim sheets (also called fly sheets) out of, and while it is great for a light weight sheet to keep a horse clean while letting them cool, before an event or between classes, it is NOT good for fly masks. I went ahead and tried it on my little guy and while it did fit as far as size, there was not enough excess over the eye area to keep it from lying directly on the eyes. With the soft material, it just sticks right to the head. I thought well, maybe if I loosen the velcro behind the ears, it will be better but that just made it sit high up on the ears, which would not stay on for any length of time. So, back it goes. I would like to compliment the manufacturers for using the low pile fleece, however. I wish all fly masks used this because it is not as hot and would not attract as much debris. Also, the mask is well made, as far as craftsmanship. If they tweaked the design, using proper, stiffer netting material and cut the mask a little larger, with a bigger dart to accommodate the projection of the eye, I would buy it. As it is, if you choose to buy this mask you will be making your horse miserable. First, although the mesh is large enough to prevent flies, gnats can easily get in and then be crawling around inside while your horse cannot get them out. Also, if they roll on the ground, sand can get in and be trapped inside, which can abrade the tender skin around the eye. If that's not enough, if your horse's eye waters, the soft fabric will stick directly to the eye. Not to mention, this material tears very easily, so as your horse tries to scratch his face with all this itchy stuff going on, it will certainly tear. Even though the price is reasonable, please don't do this to your horse. If you do end up buying it, please make sure to take it off every day and give your horse a break.

This little fly mask fits my mini mule beautifully...I really like it that it has a separate adjustment behind the ears. Also that it isn't lined with fleece, which picks up so many stickers in the field. It's not particularly sturdy, and the mesh is not really tiny, but it keeps the flies off (probably not gnats, but we don't have them). So maybe a bit overpriced, BUT it's really hard to find a mini mask that fits AND stays on, so I am happy with it - and so is she.TWO MONTHS LATER - still quite happy with this mask! No rips, no tears, and it fits so well I am ordering another. Changing my rating to 5 stars
