Love this mask for horse that has solar sensitive headshaking. 95% UV protection on eyes, but yet breathable on the rest of the mask. Long nose protects his white nose skin and is reinforced with an additional liner so that it is more durable than the Cashel long nose. The nose also is not as long or wide as the Cashel so it gives the nostrils a little more air. Yes, the ears on the mask are large as I had previously read, but not an issue.

I have a rescue who has blue eyes with pink skin & needed a small malignancy on his eyelid removed (successfully, with borders, many years ago). Consequently, just to be safe, we have him wear a fly mask year round. We’ve gone through A LOT of masks. He removes them for one, but he also rubs easily at the bridge of his nose with most standard fly mask designs. He also has a pink nose &, for some reason, none of the extra uv blocking masks seem to have a nose attachment. All of my other horses love Cashels, so we tried him in those for comfort, even though they’re not as good on the uv, they’re better than nothing - but he’s a pony/draft/cob/something - who knows - & he’s not an easy fit, so the Cashel that fits him best ends up on the ground 75% of the time. All this to say, when I saw this one, I bought it immediately (horse size) & it’s, by far, the best fitting, most durable & (somehow?!) least expensive one he’s had. He’s been wearing it for about 6 months & I don’t think he’s taken it off yet, so he must agree that it’s a winner. I think I can speak for both of us by giving it 5 stars.

I love the fact this mask has UV eye protection But the UV material inside seems to bunch up and bother my horses eye. If the UV material was securely attached to the actual mask material it would be perfect and I would rate it 5 stars. Also, wish it came I multiple color choices. Thank you

This fly mask is built nicely with a double layer sewn into the underside for UV eye protection. It seems like the stitching around the ears is solid. Attached nicely under the chin. However, the mask fits snug across the eyes of the horse. I ordered my horses normal size of Standard and after two days noticed that the mask sits so closely to his eyes that it’s started to rub against his eye. Because of this, I will no longer use it.

I purchased this mask for the extra UV protection. It is made well and the horses are unable to rub it off. The Velcro is very good also. It fits all of my quarter horses well. Excellent mask for the money

This mask is great for my horse. He has one blue eye and I wanted a mask that helps protect that. Flies and bugs are bad in the south during the hot days of summer and this mask does the trick.
