I'm not an expert on these things, but when our pool timer stopped working, we bought this and it was perfect to replace the original timer. Easy to install as all of the connections were identical

My pool timer stopped turning the pump on and off as it usually does. Sounds familiar? At first I wondered if it was the trippers simply worn out on the timer and not the entire device, since I could feel the gears on the back of the dial moving with my fingers. I looked at the on and off trippers on the timer and they seemed fine so I knew it was time to replace mine, which I believe was the original of this 20 years old house. I was able to pull the device out easily and saw the T1202m1 stamped on the back of the device panel. Upon searching on Amazon, this came up and decided to try it. I did not need the gray metal box but the device simply slides out. After turning the boxes breaker off, I rewired the new device exactly as my old one was wired. You can see from the picture that they look nearly identical. Ill say that the new device didn't necessarily snap into my old panels grove perfectly, but it's stable and secure and fine. I powered it on and it's worked great. No issues and I'd say installing took 10 - 15 mins tops. I'm not an electrician, just a dad that wanted to save some money on a DIY job at home. Seems great 👍.

I work in IT, so I definitely like modern digital technology, but if you need something that is going to set outside in the elements and perform flawlessly for years, sometimes the old school mechanical stuff is the way to go.That was why I chose this product. I saw numerous reviews of these having worked for years with no issues.I recently replaced my variable speed pump, that had all the latest digital technology, but they just don't seem to last in a constant damp and hot/cold environment. So a single speed pump and one of these timers is my new solution to not running full speed at all times. This really saves on the electric bill, and I run mine 12 hours a day.

I bought this to replace a failed unit. It was only 23 years old when it failed! This one works well and is an easy replacement for an existing product. It even fits into the older box, so if that is not damaged, you don't even need to replace it. However, the workings are not quite as sturdy as the original. While I expect this one to work well for some time, I don't believe it will match the 23 year life span of the original. Well worth the price, though.

This is the 220v version and the older one had LINE, LINE, LOAD, LOAD. This one is LINE, LOAD, LINE, LOADso the wiring was tight but managed to get an extra inch. Also the unit is easy to replace so you don't really need the outer case. Our old outer case had a label for T101 which was the 115v version. This unit is T104 and is 220v

Thanks to time-of-use electricity pricing, it's no longer reasonable or affordable to run the pool pump all day to keep the water circulated, clear, and algae free. No, it necessitates an evening run to the pool shed to fire up the pump for 12 glorious hours of lowest-rate power, and if you miss the alarm, 2-4 more hours of much more expensive power. Plus, I have other urgent priorities when I first wake up, and the sound of running water ensures that first things happen first. Since I prefer dry feet and not much moving about when I first wake, heading to the pool shed through dewy grass to turn off the pump and keep some cash in my pocket simply doesn't appeal to me.Enter the timer. It's quite challenging to find a 240v timer here in North America, but between Intermatic making one, Amazon selling it, and FedEx delivering to my door, it has been accomplished! The wiring diagram is a little difficult to comprehend but once you understand what it's showing you, it's simple and straightforward to hook up.The weatherproof box means it can be mounted outside but my handy pool shed ensures both my pump and timer are dry, save perhaps catastrophic failure of pump seals. As an added bonus, the timer keeps time. The timer on/off adjusters are a little finicky to use, but that may have more to do with my sausage-sized fingers. If, like me, your hands and fingers are large, you may want a 10 year old around to help put them on. If you can't find one, I hear there are loads at your local skate park.In a nutshell, I'm banking on nothing short of a direct lightning strike will cause me to have to make a dewy run to the pool shed ever again.
