Designed to fit into a standard outlet box, a post lamp or wall packs. Model K4321 includes a weatherproof wall plate with neoprene gasket. The UL listing for this model applies to the entire plate assembly when properly mounted to an approved outdoor junction box. All other models are equipped with a 3/8-Inch-18 threaded side mounting, locking nut and washer gasket. All models have 9-Inch leads.

Product is exactly what was expected, this is the second one we have ordered. Works great, just our electrician didn't read the first line and mounted the box in full sun... So we have had to replace twice now, but that's nothing to do with the product, it works great.

I had noticed for a while that my deck lights were not turning off as they should based on daylight. I guess the time working from home helped me realize the photo sensor was no longer working. once I figured out what I needed I ordered it, and got it delivered. Installation was simple and accomplished in a few minutes. Once the new sensor was installed my lights went back to normal behavior = on when dark off when light!! Well worth doing rather than replacing an entire system.

I received this product on time and installed as per instructions. Switch stopped working after two weeks, and despite being in the support window, I was told Amazon couldn't help, and was directed to deal with Intermatic support. I requested that Intermatic provide a working switch under warranty, and was redirected to the warranty claims link. I provided my receipt and explained the problem, and received no response after repeated attempts. Finally, I purchased a competing, less expensive switch from Canadian Tire, which now works fine.Intermatic, you saved $20 by ignoring me, and in doing so, have lost me as a customer for life, for all of your products. My networks and other working professionals will all be made aware of this shoddy treatment for a pittance of a return.Amazon, as a Prime member, you have been great in supporting other products; however, I am disappointed that you dumped this return on me, when I was clearly shipped a defective product. If it interests you, I am now starting to order products from other online providers with more comprehensive reverse logistics and product support policies.

I noticed a few weeks ago that the lights on my driveway were staying on much longer than they should have. The time on gradually increased until they were on all of the time. I determined our electronic eye was shot so I ordered this one. I literally installed it in about 15 minutes. That included time determining which breaker serviced the lights, getting out the ladder, taking out the old eye and installing this one. I ordered Intermatic as I am familiar with the brand and they offer a multi-year warranty. There are other cheaper brands available on Amazon but I could not find warranty information on any of them, so I opted for this one. I'm not disappointed. The lights now work as they should and should they fail in the next couple of years I'm covered by the warranty. All in all a good deal.

This is what you want for LED or CFL bulbs. It is either on or off, no in-between. Many other photo controls gradually reduce the voltage as darkness falls, which works very badly with LED or CFL bulbs.I added it to a post light to automatically turn on the light at night, and it works well. Have been using it for over a year now with an LED bulb.Because it is thermally driven internally, in really cold Chicago winter weather, it will stay on during the day, but that's a known quality of this sort of photocell control.

I have a ceiling mount front porch light I like to keep on at night. The problem was I would either forget to turn it on at night or forget to turn it off during the day. Initially I was planning to buy a whole new light with a photo cell already integrated into the fixture. To my surprise I found out no one makes a ceiling mount porch light with an installed photo cell. They make them with a motion sensing cell, but that's it. On my fixture there is about an inch and a half base all the way around the light, then the glass dome underneath. This was the smallest photo cell I could find, so thought I would give it a try. When the cell arrived, I pulled down the light fixture and saw there was barely enough room to mount it in the light. With a small hole saw I drilled out a hole in the base the size of the protruding light sensor, I mounted it inside the base by pushing the protruding sensor through the hole and installing the included threaded nut. I re-installed my light fixture, wiring as per included instructions and put in a 60 watt equivalent LED bulb. Very happy, works great. I leave my porch light on all he time, but now it comes on by itself at night and turns off at dawn.
