RECOMMENDED LOCATIONS FOR ALARMS
NFPA 72 states: "Smoke alarms in rooms with ceiling slopes qreater than1 ft in 8 ft (.3m in 2.4 m) horizontally shall be located on the high side ofthe room." NFPA 72 states: "A row of detectors shall be spaced and locat-ed within 3 ft (0.9m) of the peak of the ceiling measured horizontally."
Don't install!
Smoke, heat, and combustion products rise to the ceiling and spreadhorizontally. Mounting the smoke alarm on the ceiling in the center ofthe room places it closest to all points in the room. Ceiling mounting ispreferred in ordinary residential construction.

Low Battery
During Low Battery mode, the red LED will blinkevery 30 seconds and the sounder will chirpevery 30 seconds.Lb will be displayed.Solution: Remove, discharge the device, dispose of, replace the alarm with a new one.

Product come really well packed with straightforward and simple instructions! All you need to do is to pull out the thin film to activate the battery, and it is ready to be attached to the wall.It uses standard wall mount plate, I used the fixture from my old smoke detector, and the position of all screws matches so I don’t need to drill new screws. Highly recommended!!

Great value for the money. Compact form for both a smoke and a carbon monoxide detector. Easy to install, comes with all hardware needed to install. Feel safe knowing they are ten year batteries and if one alarms all will sound an alarm. Have not had any false alarms since installation. Instructions are easy to read and follow.
