This is a great in-line TDS meter for in-line water quality measurements. Great value and utility at its price. No problems or issues, works well. Recommended.

I'm using this on my RO system to easily check ppm every time I use it, as a way to spot any problems early on. I used to fill a small clean cup and put my meter in, but this inline meter is far more convenient so I can check more often. I installed this just before the spout, so it checks the same water that's coming out of the spout. Installation took a minute, using one of the quick connect adapters included. Reading matched my other TDS meter (12 ppm).After using this for a week it's a LOT more useful than I first thought it would be. Because it gives a continuous reading, when I turn my system on after being unused for a couple of days, I can see the reading change as the "stale" water moves out the end of the system and fresher water comes through (and ppm drops). That is very useful for dumping the initial water and knowing when to start filling my water pitcher with the freshest water. This just wouldn't be possible with a manual meter.Unit must be manually turned on. Uses a CR2450 lithium cell. Stays on about a minute then turns off (preferable to the 10 minutes listed, which would drain battery a lot more).

Works as designed. It is great to be able to accurately test my drinking water. We can know the quality of our water.It's always nice to receive exactly what you ordered!
