These are simple timers that are easy to set up. They work well turning lilghts on and off as programmed making life a little more convenient. I would repurchase again if I need more. Packaging, delivery and product came as described.

First I bought a digital, programmable timer but immediately sent it back because it was very complicated to set up, the timer set consume face was too small to see and manipulate, and the device itself was really big. So I went back to these wonderful "old fashioned" disc timers which are easy to set up, last forever, and aren't very conspicuous.

There are a number of nice battery chargers and maintainers on the market. The best and most accurate for maintaining the battery of a vehicle in storage are those called 'battery tender', but unfortunately they are way over priced.There is a great one on Amazon called the NEXPEAK NC201 10-Amp Battery Charger. It is excellent but does not kick back on when the battery voltage gets low. When plugged in or when first connected to a battery, it does a battery test and if low, brings it up to full charge and shuts off.I have several and really like them. To get them to work like a battery tender, I put one of these timers in the power line and program it to turn off for 15 minutes every 24 hours. This resets the charger and when it comes back on, it does a complete battery test,Now for under $30 I have units that function as well as a $100 unit under the Battery Tender brand.

The units arrived on time and in good order. I put one of them into service immediately and it worked fine. A pleasant surprise is that these timers are smaller in size than equivalent past models but work equally well. The smaller size makes them easier to use and less cumbersome than the larger models.These are well worth the money on first observation. Hopefully their durability will be equally satisfactory!
